I'm starting to print all of our confirmations, itineraries, maps, etc. I finally did our online check-in form on Disney's website so I think we're pretty much set.

I bought a thin plastic colored folder from walmart for about 1.00 and hole punched all of my papers and inserted them into the folder. It helps me to keep everything in order and "locked down" while on our vacation. You are right, between all the different confirmations etc. the pages sure add up!

When we were looking at booking our flight, some of the American airlines were a little cheaper than the 2 Canadian airlines we could have booked with. But when I heard you guys on here talking about baggage fees, I decided to look into the different airlines and their baggage fees. Well to mu pleasant surprise, the 2 Canadian airlines that flew to Orlando allowed 2 bags for NO COST!!! So for our family of 5, that means we can take 10 pieces of luggage plus carryons. Also, we can bring our booster seats for no charge also. I guess we really lucked into the airlines. Maybe flying all the way from Canada has it's perks.

Sorry to all of you who to pay these crazy baggage fees!!!

We also have a 10 bag allowance that DW would like to use in full. However, I try to remind her the more bags we take the more tips we need to pay to bell services/porters so less vacation spending money. I hope my begging will work and we end up with closer to 6 bags.

I really need to get going! I have done all of nothing! I need to pack, and Print, and finish and well you name it I need to do it! I also still have shopping to do. Man I have a lot to do in such a short WEEK AND 5 DAY'S

Well there is not much we could do about it. Its here, our plan it to just be very careful and wash our hands all the time. All I can say is that I'm SO happy that I chose the eastern and not the western!

I'm actually getting quite concerned. I know we're not stopping in Mexico, but we are gonna be traveling with ppl from all over. I guess I'm also a bit more concerned cuz we are traveling with an infant and a 2 yr old....

Actually, American Airlines allows all things like car seats, strollers, etc. to be checked with no fee.

We might as well get used to a la carte travel...although everyone is upset over things like this fee...they overwhelming vote with their wallets for the cheapest flights. That will mean one base price and then paying to "add on" the stuff you want extra. It is no different than the current WDW pass structure. You start with one-day one-parks and start paying extra for things like park-hopping, no expiration, water parks and more...

If you want all the services that you used to get standard with Legacy carriers, you will have to pay for it in the future. I do not believe it will be too much longer until WN starts adding similar fees. They already double charge you if you are overweight. Fares keep creeping higher as their hedged fuel runs out (or works against them as it did last quarter) and they have already started pulling out of less profitable markets leaving cities around the country who were once begging for a discount carrier to find themselves now driving hours to major cities for decent flights. The entire south is now served by just RJs and a few WN 737s. Where there used to be regular major jet service.

My house is a little out of control right now, I'm trying not to think about it. half packed bags, laundry baskets full, ironing board out to make t-shirts, FE stuff covering 90% of my kitchen, office covered in magnet remnants, all our docs that I printed out are in our family room, not to mention all the list I have tacked every where of things to pack or buy.... tomorrow is going to be another long day of TRYING to get organized.

Honestly I'm not really up on this new flu everyones talking about ( to busy) But wondering if there could be any issues with the Magic and CM because they're going to Mexico the week before us

I know this has come up on earlier pages but wondering if anyone knows when each show is ( Dreams, Golden Mickey's, Pirate Party, etc.)

The days are flying by The good thing is once it's here it's here. No more packing, no more shopping, no more stressing. If it's not clean I'm sure it'll wait for me

I know this has come up on earlier pages but wondering if anyone knows when each show is ( Dreams, Golden Mickey's, Pirate Party, etc.)

Well, first night (Saturday) will be the Welcome Aboard show and last night (Friday) will be the Farewell Variety show. The night before we arrive at Castaway Cay (Thursday) should be Disney Dreams. Golden Dreams is on formal night, so we should get it on Sunday night. Usually Twice Charmed is the next night (Monday). Tuesday night after St. Maarten should be pirate night as the ship has to go somewhere at sea and basically stop. After we leave St. Thomas we have to start hauling butt to make it back to Castaway Cay by Friday morning. Since St. Maarten and St. Thomas are so close, we have the time to slow down and have Pirate night.

There is a site that has some great inside info...including Navigators from past cruises that show you the performance times for all of the shows. However, DISBoards seems to be jealous of it or something and isn't letting me post it for some reason! It's called Castaway Club dot com. only the name is all one word...Seriously, I tried posting the site like 3 different ways and it won't post!

I think that site name is blocked now because she is competition for DIS and does some travel agency bookings... However, I do enjoy frequenting it too!

Just called the cruise line my kids dr wanted me to check and see what they had for medications "if" someone should get this flu while on board. As of now nothing new just there normal stuff. The lady I spoke to kinda made it sound like she doesn't think it'll be going to Mexico before us (next week) (don't know for a fact) I do know the movies that will be playing

Thanks for the info. In regards to the Flu bug I am also going to call my kids DH and see what she says but I feel that it is out of my hands at this point. I will be washing hands a lot and hope for the best. I cant worry about it to much because I am getting on that ship!!!!

I'm not to excited about the movie selection for ME personally But GREAT for the kids It's gotten so dang expensive to take the family to the movies!!! I was going to pick up some candy at the store (when we stop to buy water) for the kids (movies) my oldest always buys that stuff when they sell it out side the door, and usually enough for his new group of friends. I'm trying to keep our "CRUISE" bill low so my DH doesn't freak out the last day (it is his birthday) My daughter on the other hand loves buying pins for her landyard not much I can do to cut back on them, Any one have a DISNEY coupon they'd be will to share

I'm counting down and so is my DD. Finally got our cruise docs on Friday. Put up DD's playhouse on Saturday (door is always open for you Scott!) and have items packed. Not enough for both of us yet, but working on it. FE is almost done and so are the gifts.

I'm ready to get on the ship - flu or no flu! Now if I could get rid of the stuff on my desk at work, like would be "magical" all the way around.
