05/09/2009 May 9, 2009 7-Night Eastern St Maarten... Watch Out!

It was not only your team that were embarrassed out of the first round, My Canadians got beaten quite badly by those Bruins.

:confused3

Same here... Our Bluejackets made the playoffs for the first time this year, but couldnt do anything! :sad2:

I feel sorry for the May 2nd cruisers who are just sitting waiting to find out if their ports of call will be changed at all.

I wonder if our boarding of the ship will be delayed at all so they can perform extra sanitization of the ship after everyone exits from the Western Sailing? I am thinking we may see some restrictions when we sail, like no self-serve at the pop and ice cream machines.

Yep - that's almost the same. The number 1 seed throughout the playoffs completely chose to start their vacations early...in Disneyland no less...and it's exactly the same as one of the biggest underdogs in the playoffs bowing out exactly as expected. Thanks for the perspective. :)

I'm kidding of course. I truly am sorry that Montreal hasn't been able to bring the Cup back since Patrick left. If there is one franchise that should win every few years then it's definitely Les Canadiens!

It doesn't matter who you like the PATS will return to the top.

I completely agree - if Brady makes a complete recovery, you're golden. But boy has your division gotten tougher...the East could rule the league for a few years here.
All I want is a return to glory by 2011 - the 9ers have gone way too long without a ring!

Wait...there is a team in Columbus not named the Buckeyes??? Oh, phew...no there's not...never mind. Just got thrown for a loop there for a minute.
Very funny, Scott...very funny indeed.

:rolleyes1

Yes, the Buckeyes are the world to most people here... but a few thousand do show up each week for the Bluejackets, the Crew (might have heard of them) and the Destroyers (indoor football champs before they shut down the league on a temp basis).
I just play like a good little buckeye nut and cheer, cheer, cheer!

I do know the movies that will be playing

WALL-E
Swing Vote
B.H. Chihuahua
HSM 3
Bolt -3D
Hannah Montana concert -3D
Johnas Brothers concert -3D
race to witch mt
Hannah Montana the movie
Earth
confessions of a shop-aholic
and one more I cant remember what she said I wrote down B. T. S. ? She was talking fast. So this is what she said should be playing.

Thanks for posting the movie list. I was hoping that we might get an exclusive sneak peak at "Up". I guess it will still be a little early for it. :confused3

I guess I have one less thing to stress about now that my beloved San Jose Sharks were embarrassed out of the first round of the playoffs. Now I don't need to sneak away to a TV or radio every chance I get to listen in while at the parks or on the ship. I like to call it my WDW curse. It seems that every time we are there, my sports team of choice gets eliminated from the playoffs.

I wish I could say that I am sorry, but since we are Stars fans, we don't really like anyone in the Pacific Division. And with memories of Bryan Marchment, the Sharks are at the top of the list.

Of course our Stars pretty much embarrassed themselves out of the season. I guess injuries (and aging starters) will do that to a team.

Yeah - I see your point. I loved Bryan Marchment. My favorite thing at the Tank was during stoppages they'd play a video of Mush making massive hits to The Who's 'Behind Blue Eyes' - terrificly perfect lyrics and great juxtaposition of soft melody with bone-crunching hits. And I hate the Stars too - Modano has been a Shark-killer for years.

For anyone flying into MCO later in the day, feel free to sneak into the Hyatt MCO and give a quick shout out. We should be lounging by the pool shortly after arrival!! I believe there is at least one other fellow DISer hanging out with us there Friday.
:beach:

HI Everyone,

I haven't been around for a while. Busy with kids and stuff. Will have to catch up on all the posts. Good thing the hockey playoffs are on as I couldn't care less (and, yes, I am Canadian) and my husband might divorce me if I try and change a channel!

Hope everyone is well. I cannot believe we have 11 days to go. I have SO SO much to do.

But cannot complain - will be cruising in a week and a half!!

Take care all,
Bonnie
