05/09/2009 May 9, 2009 7-Night Eastern St Maarten... Watch Out!

Yeah 8 more working days for me.... I can't wait. This weekend is going to be a crazy busy one. I was going to do my FE gifts this past weekend but I was out looking at homes all weekend. So this weekend it's buckledown and get it done time. I can't believe it is so close. I am going out and looking at homes again this weekend, but then it's nose to the grindstone and get ready.

Go Steelers! I am a Pittsburgh native. ;)

Same here... spent the early years of my life growing up in the North Hills. We then moved to Columbus when I was starting middle school. We still have a good deal of family living "back home". We make the 3 hour drive every few months it seems for some event or another.
Be proud to wave the Terrible Towel!:cheer2:

I have the whole dinning room table covered in FE gifts now and I guess I better get it cleaned up before the kids spill some cereal in the morning on them!!

Question for all you repeat cruisers...how do I get a day pass at the rainforest spa? Can I do it onboard or is there a way to book my time now? Thanks in advance :thumbsup2

My daughter called and is scared about flying with this flu stuff going on. Her surgery in January involved nose, throat and sinuses and her resistance is still so low. She's been catching everything. She said if someone has it on the plane and sneezes, it has nowhere to go. I told her to wear a mask on the plane ... not like she'll ever see anybody on the plane again ... who cares if people stare at her. And it's such a long flight from Las Vegas to Orlando. She is flying in on Thursday. On Friday a bunch of us from work at WDW are taking her to Hoop De Doo and then it's up early on Saturday to go to the Port. I absolutely can't wait!!!!!!! I think I'll get the suitcases down today.

I don’t believe you can book a day pass online, but they do offer the option to order the day pass as a gift and a card will be in your stateroom that you present to the spa. It is the same $15 price, but they charge a $1.00 fee. A link to the info and order form is below. You should also be able to purchase a day pass once onboard, at least my DW did a couple years back.

My DW was asking if she should bring some masks home from work for our flight. I am not sure I would wear one but I am all for her or the kids wearing them if they want. And you are right, who would see them again?!

I havent been to the Hoop De Doo in years.... I would love to get back some time soon!

Well I am not as worried as before knowing that they boat will not be in Mexico before we get on. Will be taking DH to the DR today she woke up with a soar throat this morning. I think it is because the weather here is all over the place, one day its 90 the next its 50. On top of that she has allergies and snores so bad that I think she may just have a little bug! Hope the Dr. will get her on some meds so that she is ready to go by May 8th!
