Anyone want to speculate on who might replace Gary Sinise??? I think it might be Wayne Brady. Just a thought, I know he has done it in the past and he seems to do a lot with Disney. Who does everyone else think the replacement might be????

I really, really, REALLY want Gary Sinise :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :cheer2:
but in case we can't get him, at the risk of sounding stupid....who's Wayne Brady?

Just in case everyone on this thread is not as obsessive about reading all the threads on these boards as I am, the CP dining packages are now on the dining plan ,all restaurants are 1 ts except Coral reef which is 2 ts so you can call WDW dining for a credit if using the dining plan but they will keep a CC on file incase you don't show up or cancel within 48 hours.Hopefully this information will save some people a little money!!! :)

Hmmm, I just called to make reservations using the dining plan and was told it was TWO TS credits for the CP Dinner package...at any restaurant. I asked the CM if the extra TS credit was for a "reserved" seat to the show and she said it was. What's up with that???? :confused3

Edited to add: I called back and spoke to another CM who told me that it is in fact 1 TS credit for all except Coral Reef. So, we have reservations for 10 for the 5pm CP on 12/26 and a 7pm dinner res for Le Cellier. Another little glitch....she was going to charge my CC at the time of booking. I made her check on this and she came back to say that it would only be used to guarantee our reservation in case we don't show. Another tidbit she told me was that our tickets could be picked up at our resort up to 7 days prior to the show. :earboy2:

Thanks, QuiltTeddy...I know him! He's a hoot! Somehow, I don't picture him cutting up with the Christmas story, though...too bad.

Little Sazzo and I are going! :bounce:

Anyone know? :) I'm interested, too!

I son't think so. If I remember correctly, the Christmas tree at MGM is outside the gates.

GREAT luvmarypoppins!!! I'll definitely have SOMETHING lime green. So, if you see a lime wearing 40-something (LOL) lady with shoulder length auburn hair (ME) with an 11 year old boy, please say "Hi!". Can't wait!!!!

Kella22, it all depends on when you are going and who the narrator is. Earlier in December is usually a little less crowded, the week before Christmas the crowds pick up and the week between Christmas and New Year will be packed. There are 3 shows a night, the later one being the most popular. Most people feel that the first show of the evening is less desirable because it is not really dark yet. Also, some of the narrators are very, very popular. We saw Brian Dennehy in 1999 in early December. We walked in no problem, although we did arrive about an hour ahead or so. I'm not even sure if the did the packages then, if so we did not know about them. I scheduled a package this year because we do not want to have to arrive early and maybe not get seats. We are a family of six. I booked Beirgarten because my kids hardly eat and I wanted the cheapest I could get. Good luck deciding!

We extended our trip and got 12/24 at 6:45 p.m. We also got 8 p.m. reservations at Le Cellier.

How long does it take to walk to Le Cellier after the show?

FYI: I got my ressie today, and still no info on who is replacing Lt. Dan.

I am so excited that my first choice for time/date were still available considering how long I waited to book (took major effort to get a firm head count with the whole family).

Here's what I got:
Thursday 15th/ Lou Diamond Phillips
5:15 ADR at San Angel Inn
8:15 CP showing

Looking forward to a nice relaxing meal and then a relaxing stroll to the pavilion, and then after the show, watching Illuminations.

Hope to see some DISer's there...I'll be wearing my lime green!

THANKS AGAIN RAY FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!! :worship:

I'm so excited--We got our ressies today!!!!

Friday, Dec. 9th
6:00 Dinner at Chefs de France
8:15 CP show

CP at 5 then Rose and Crown for 2 at 6:50 on 12/13. The CM indicated that Rose n Crown was available for all shows so you might try that if you strike out on LeCellier.

Calling on Sunday for the rest of my ADR's...want Citricos for DH's bday.

Later,
MHF :paw:
