I am sure many people would disagree with this. I am planning my entire trip around which parks which days and where I want to dine. I would be very upset if I couldn't get a LeCellier ADR because I wasn't doing the CP package that night and they were all taken from CP ressies who were able to book before I ever had a chance at my 90 day window. I cannot afford or justify doing a CP package for more then one night but that doesn't mean I don't have as much right as anyone else to make an ADR at an Epcot restaurant.

Good point, Calie. I'll be in that same situation on Wednesday night-- just hadn't thought of it yet. I'm just frustrated with the CP dinner pkg system. With a 4pm ADR, we cannot go to the 6:45 CP show. We have to go to the 8:15 show.... with DS2 and DD5..... who got up at 6am that day to catch our flight. Sounds promising, doesn't it?

Pages back in this thread there were people who wanted 4pm ADR with the 8:15 CP so they could fit in the tree lighting on the same night and weren't allowed anything earlier then 5:00. Wouldn't it be nice if you could switch with one of them :teeth: I hope you can get your children to take a good nap on the plane or in the afternoon and the excitement of being at WDW keeps them awake and happy.

I'm stressed over my ADR's which I've toiled over and pinned alot of hope on getting them for this special once in a lifetime trip for DD's 8th b-day, talk about pressure :guilty: . Can't wait until Monday when I can start making them and don't have to worry about it anymore. Anyone have some valium to get me thru until then :rotfl:

calie_j, we must be going at the same time. I have to make my ADR's on Monday too. We'll be at POR November 27 - December 3.

We'll be onsite at WDW Nov 27 - Dec 4. We'll be in Florida visiting my sister starting Nov 24 and I talked her into spending the 26th at MGM so I can call Sunday for that one ADR (Sci Fi lunch so no stress) then Monday for my 90 plus 10 :earseek: . Hopefully I won't be on the phone all week trying for CRT and Monday will be my lucky day, or my TA's lucky day :rotfl2: Pixie dust to both of us :wizard:

My sister is in Florida too - in Oviedo! Though she's going to stay with us at POR on the nights she is available. We're not attempting CRT this trip - my son wants to try Crystal Palace this time for breakfast - we're only doing one full day at MK this trip, since we're also doing MVMCP on the 1st. We've had dinner at Crystal Palace 4 times but never tried breakfast. Lots of pixie dust for CRT - we had breakfast there last trip & had an awesome time.

I still need to call for CP ressies - as soon as I decide what we're doing. I had originally planned to do the 5:00 show on Dec. 2, since here in PA it is full dark by 5:00. Didn't realize it wasn't that way in Florida. So I guess I'll try for 6:45, tho I still haven't decided on a restaurant. My son wants to try Biergarten & I was leaning toward Chefs de France. But I guess I should just make the call & take what's available. I was hoping for some input - I posted earlier with a request, but no one responded. :confused3 Oh well, decisions, decisions...

I hope you will give Biergarten a try. We resisted it for years; finally tried it last December and have been back several times since!! My DD (who just last week turned 12) LOVES it. I think your son would enjoy it - especially if he requested it ;) There's enough variety of food there so even a picky eater should be satisfied!

But you're right - call and see what's available 1st! Let us know what you end up with. :goodvibes

We were going to just eat and do the standby line for ours until the allearsnet newsletter mentioned the dining-plan option for the package.

I called this morning...no wait...and we got Teppanyaki on December 16th at 4:45 (just what we hoped for) for the 6:45 CP.

Yep...definitely smiling here!

Thank you for the input! I think my son (he'll be 12 in April) would get a kick out of it. I heard that they have entertainment. Is it something special for Christmas?

I called the other day to make another CP dinner package for Monday, December 12th and was told that Le Cellier was completely booked. I want to dine here for dinner, but I can't call for another 2 weeks and I'm afraid of getting this response to other days without the CP dinner package.

Date: Monday, December 12th
Show Time: 5pm
Narrator: Eartha Kitt
Dinner Time: 6:30pm
Location: Garden Grill

I wanted to do the 6:45pm show with dinner afterwards, but the only times that were available was 4pm or 4:30pm. I also wanted to dine at Le Cellier, but was told it was completely booked that day. Should I call back and see if I can change the performance time to 6:45pm and see if another restaurant is available after that performance? I went to the 5pm show in 2003 and although the show was excellent (as was the narrator), I thought it was still too light out to really take in everything (candles, lights, etc.). If I keep what I have, will I be able to get to the entrance to World Showcase in time to see the tree lighting?

The band puts on a really great show and the kids (and adults!) can get involved if they care to. Around Christmas, what I remember them doing that I haven't seen in the summer months was the band played some German holiday songs, one of the men had all the kids sit down on the floor in front of the stage, and he told a German story. The band is top-notch and they'll get the crowd going!

I called today to try to get CP dinner package for 2 on 12/12 for Le Cellier. It is not completely booked, it is only booked if you are a party of 2. She had all different times on both 12/11 and 12/12 for parties larger than 2. It does make you almost want to say you are a party of 4. Only problem is you would be paying for 4. So booked Rose and Crown for 8pm and doing CP @ 6:45. We don't do the 5pm show because of it not being completely dark @5pm. I am also from PA and yes it is dark here at 5pm. I was surprised the first time we went in Dec 3 years ago that it stayed lighter much longer in FL.

I also made reservations for 10/30 @ 8pm for California Grill for our Halloween trip. I debated if we wanted to do MNSSHP, but since it is just DH and I rather spend the money on a nice dinner. We can watch the fireworks while we eat.

I do think that I am going to just make reservations for Le Cellier for either our Oct trip or Dec trip. We have DDE card so want to get some use from my card.

The day they started selling the CP they were letting people book a restaraunt for 4:00pm and then do the CP at 6:45pm, because I have a 4:00pm at Alfredos and 6:45pm CP on Dec 9th. This is the day we arrive at WDW, but we wanted to hear Jim Cavaziel and that's his last night.

I wish that was true for a party of 5 at LeCellier. I got thru at 7:15 on the first day.

I just booked CP for 12/7. We are going to the 8:15 show and are eating at LeCellier at 5:00 pm. We received the last table for our party size (3).

I had a message from Disney Dining on my answering machine when I got home from work yesterday. They wanted me to call asap because there was some confusion with my ADR for CP. :confused3 I called and she said that they had a duplicate ressie for me. I thought maybe they meant the ressie I had made for three people and then canceled and made one for two. They said no, they didn't even show a ressie anywhere for three people, but they had two ressie's in their system for the same date (12/7), same time (6:45 CP, 8:00 Le Cellier) for two people under my name. I told them I only needed one ressie and as long as the date/times stayed the same I was happy. :teeth: So, she canceled one and said my cc would be credited. Make sure you check your cc statements to make sure you only got charged for what you booked!

I WANT TO KNOW WHO IS THE NARRATOR REPLACING GARY SINISE AND I WANT TO KNOW NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Sorry , I'm having a preholiday need to plan meltdown:) :badpc: :cold:

I booked my ressie for CP on Dec. 23 for the 6:45pm show last night. Our dinner time is 4:35pm at the Biergarten. I asked the CM if they had the replacement speaker for Gary Sines yet and she stated no. I'm with the previous poster I wish they would hurry up and let us know.

Magic This makes me nuts. :earseek: They would not let me book LeCellier because they said I couldn't get a reservation for two. I wish I could have taken one of yours. :flower: Does it seem like they have had a lot of problems this year with bookings for the CP? Or is it just me?
