    Micro sim for iPad 2

Everything stated above by paulh is correct, which will give you wifi access in your room. However, I don't think you could buy a micro sim to use the ipad2 out and about unless the ipad is unlocked i.e. not restricted to one carrier like 02 or T-Mobile. If it is unlocked it should work as...

Booked again Road trip and Orlando

No Twister was in and around Wakita, Oklahoma. Wichita, Kansas is where Steve Martin & John Candy were diverted to in Planes, Trains & Automobiles :happytv:.

Convertible or not convertible, that is the question

We hired one for 3 weeks in 2009. Small 'trunk' for luggage but was fine for the two of us. Found it too noisy on highway/interstate too have roof down for any distance and it is an experience if you hit a sudden down pour! Good on coast and short trips to parks, but overall wouldn't get...

Check in advice - indirect flights via LHR

We flew MAN to LHR with BMI in 2004, going onto LAX with VA. Check-in at MAN didn't open until 2 hours before, given it was an internal flight. We were checked straight through to LAX, bags too, but we were called over the tannoy at the gate in LHR as our API had not been collected/sent...

    Anyone else not eat onsite?

We never eat on-site, always stay off-site and hire a car. Personally think it provides better value for money/choice/flexibility, but that's just me!

coping with rides with a shoulder injury?

I had major spinal surgery in March/April 2000 resulting in my spine being secured by titanium - rode a few rides in Hong Kong in October 2000 with surgeons consent with no problems (had to cancel trip to Florida in the August of the same year when I found out I needed op). Completely different...

No WDW this time! Travel day

If you still have the corrupted card untouched (rather than formatting and reusing on remainder this in of trip) the photos can usually be recovered with software available on the net. One I have used previously is 'recover my files' and is intended for such mishaps and for accidentally deleted...

    Please recommend villas to me...

We stayed at Flamingo Villa last August for 3 weeks (20 nights), costing a very reasonable £930 for the duration (though these were 2008 prices which the owner honoured as they had not updated their site). 10-15 minute drive to parks, Wal-mart/192 5 mins away. We would stay again...

    Nearest Walmart to Disney World

Yes there is definitely an Outback Steakhouse on the park to the north of Premium Outlet Malls, off Vineland Road. This is the park where there is a Publix & Walgreens. It can be walked to from Premium Outlets. The Walmart on the 535 opposite LBV Factory Outlets is just before the turn off...

    Back! Quick review.

When we rode on the 2nd day of opening I found it smooth whilst my wife found it to be the roughest ride ever - even worse than Space Mountain at DLP! Guess you can't please everyone.

    Continental or Virgin??

Even if they do not give you a VS code, I found that my continental code worked on Virgin's website. It then displays the VS code once logged in for future use.

Anyone reccomend a good book for kids

There are some Disney Imagineering books, though these may go into too much detail on too few rides? They are very good, but maybe more for a real disney nerd! A quick search on google for Disney Imagineering books brings a few up.

    Continental airline conection @ newark

I would have thought yes, as your connecting plane will not be at the airport when you arrive and they would not hold your bags due to security risks etc.

VA online check in a Joke!

My parents are struggling to check in for VS075 tomorrow, just goes to a 'we are unable to process your blah blah blah' page - whilst I appreciate there are logistical issues to consider, this is an all too frequent occurance, and perhaps they should question the usefulness, and therefore the...

    1st Time Driver - Fuel?

Just a point re using credit card - if using pay at pump method it usually asks for a zip code, well it does me anyway! Obviously we don't have one - simply go in store and pre-pay with card as you would with cash. In terms of how much - $20 is giving us the best part of 3/4's of a tank (we...

Online check in AND legroom seats?

Don't know if this helps, but recently flew from Manchester, checked in online first and then upgraded to extra leg room seats at bag drop. I simply asked when checking bags and they looked to see what was available. No PE left but a few extra leg room seats at 30 pound. I had to go and pay...

    Evening parking at Seaworld

Did they actually check at the booth if you had a Flex ticket, or did you just show the parking ticket from the previous park?

    Evening parking at Seaworld

Not sure, but out of interest I remember once getting the Flex ticket and it said you could use the parking ticket from Universal to park in, say, Sea World if hopping. Does this still apply, and is this just for Flex ticket holders? Not got a flex ticket this time but would avoid hopping if...
