As we just got back, I'd have to say O'hana's as it was wonderful as far as food and the character interaction. The characters did a congo line with anyone who wanted to participate, it was a lot of fun. We will definitely go back.
For making turns, etc. the 3-wheel scooter is the way to go. Given how crowded the parks get, you will need this functionality to maneuver easier. We just got back, rented a 3-wheel from Apple, a very professional company.
Given I'm a scooter rider due to disabilities, this is very offensive to me. Why doesn't Disney pass out a brochure to ALL stating that the walkers need to be descent and let scooters go by without RUNNING IN FRONT OF THEM as they try to hurt themselves then blaming the scooter rider for the...
we were there on Dec 6. our server was wonderful. as far as the price, we knew we were paying for the experience vs. 5 star type of dining food. although we did not have any issues with our adult meals, we were totally thrown by the lack of choices on the kids menu. the kids menu food was not...
have you been to Disney and seen the kids meal selection? it is really lame. every restaurant was the same. the have the pizza with some stuff that goes with it and then a fish/rich dish. the fish may or may not be different at each place. we were not on the dining plan but at CRT we had to...
I'm as overweight as she is but I have valid disabilities. Like others have said if she does not have any disabilities, then she will be fine. I'm really not convinced that you should be going anywhere with her given that you don't like her weight issue. The fact that you are worried about...
we just got back and made sure we rented a mini-van due to the large amount of space that a broken down scooter takes up. i would not rent a car, even a full size car, to carry a scooter around as i don't believe it would work. if you get a mid-size SUV that will work but the space will be less...
the shoes that are beabable for me to wear are softspots and SAS shoes. i still can't walk more than about 4ft but these shoes are the ones that i can wear that cause me the least amount of pain due to them being so soft.
we just came home on saturday after using an ECV at the parks as i am disabled, can harly walk due to a skydiving accident.
MK wasn't a problem with crowds but Epcot was a horrific experience as the crowds were enormous probably due to the increase in folks due to the candellight...
we ate there for my b-day on dec 9th and it was wonderful. we had the bakery make me a special cake, it turned out wonderful and beautiful. the staff was extremely nice.
Can you believe that Walker Scooter, the OWNER, told us last night about 10pm to "Take a chill pill" when we called to say that our scooter was not here. We were not nasty with him at all. We needed it to take to Disney this a.m. and he said "Take a chill pill!!". OMG were we shocked as we had...
We could feel the coils in our beds when we stayed there.
They really need to upgrade to better mattresses. My husband ended up sleeping on the filthy couch with a sheet over it when we were there.
