    Being in Disney 'alone'

My dream is to go to Disneyland alone. It would be so awesome. No one to worry about, do what you wanna do... I talk to everyone in line so it's a great time to hear other people's life adventure.

    What I Learned this Weekend

That is really cool. Everyone tolerates my Disneyland love, but doesn't really understand it. So it must be cool to have a friend to talk to about it. That is one thing about DCA that I didn't like, I felt like I was walking and walking and walking and never got anywhere. I couldn't wait...

    Oh no d:

I don't see anything wrong with selling stuff that means nothing to you, to get a lifetime memory that you will carry with you forever. I am old.. As dirt... I never have said to myself... Gee I wish I had more junk that means nothing to me.. But I have said that I wish I had grabbed more...

    Possible DL trip... help us?

I have never done a dining plan at Disneyland, but I have been a long time reader here, and from what I have heard, the dining plan at Disneyland it not a good deal. It's nothing like WDW. Good neighbor hotels get the Disney stamp of approval. They are the hotels located around the park...

    Oh no d:

Can someone point out the budget forum for me? I tried to find it. Urgh... I wish you luck on your trip. I wouldn't let the hotel stories bother you. Just check over the room before you take anything in the room. Look in the creases of the mattresses, behind the headboard, and the...

Just Back~WDW Vet's DLR Trip Observations

Glad to hear you had a good time at Disneyland. It really is just magical. I don't get those who dont' just love it. I love SM too. It is amazing. There is something about the countdown at the beginning and then just zooming off into the star lite night, that just takes my breath away...

Help! Disneyland in less then 3 weeks..hardly anything planned!

I think Ride Max is worth it. Even if you don't use it all the time, if you get caught in one of those, what do you want to do? I don't know, what do you want to do? moments, you can look at the list for your day and see what is not busy at the moment, and go on that. I hate wasted time doing...

What do you eat for breakfast at hotel?

If you find your not eating breakfast before you go I would just toss some nutragrain, granola bars, or cliff bars in your backpack, along with some nuts, and some fruit for a mid morning snack in the park. These are easy to eat in line too. We packed in peanut butter and Jelly sandwhiches and...

DL tickets now have names printed on them

Oh lordy, no finger scanners. They have those at Sea World San Diego. My friends daughter's finger would not scan. It was a half hour fiasco. I hate them. I fogot too, since her finger wouldn't scan, they were INSISTING upon her ID, well her mother PAID for the ticket on her credt card...

Not sure what to think of RideMax

I realy found Ridemax to be great. I used it a year before this in Feb. Off season, right? Well the park jammed up, they were making sure we got stamped and they added another showing of Fanstamic. (It was a Friday.) It was crazy busy, and yet with Ridemax we were still able to ride all the...

OK. A stupid DIS question - How many days at DL?

I would say five days. I know a lot of people here say that is too much, BUT if you don't get to go all the time, five days. I have done mostly one and two day trips. That is not enough time. I wish I could do a five dayer. It would be heaven.

When I'm wrong I'll admit it and never thought I'd say this but.....

What did you think of the castle? I hear that it is always a dissapointment for frirst timers from WDW... But I love the castle, it's beautiful...

Got back a few days ago, stayed at Hojo w/kids' suite

I think that for the price, HOJO is all that. It's close to the parks, it's clean, and well kept. I guess I too don't really expect much from a hotel that I am basically going to just shower and sleep in... But then again, I have stayed at hostels and have been okay. I found the trip to...

What is Your Favorite Trinket You Bought in DL?

I have a sterling silver charm for my charm bracelet. I got it on my very first trip and I only paid 7 dollars for it. Man that was a LONG time ago.. I think back in 91. Last time I saw a sterling silver charm at Disneyland it was like 22 dollars.

    So Overwhelmed

If you like structure, I would recommend RideMax. I love it. I schedule my day with it. I hate standing around going, what do you want to do? I don't know, what do you want to do? Ugh, such a pain. So with a schedule, you can figure out before hand what to do.. I just ask everyone what...
