We always buy the minimum number of days that we think we will use. So, for our last 7 night trip, we bought 6 day tickets. We ended up going to the parks the first night so we added a day while we were there. The trip before, we didn't get park hoppers but added the option on the second day...

Excellent! We will do this in the future. Also, I was the one who said we take our pool towels when we pool hop to other resorts. We do this so we can sit on them in the car ride back without soaking the seats of the car. (And then we drop them in our pool towel bin.)

I really think that some of the stroller hate in the last few years is directly related to the significant increase in renting a stroller at the parks. We needed a double last year and at $31 dollars a day we just brought our own (well, rented one from an outside company). Disney doesn't...

If you are staying at a Disney resort, I have to plug Bell Services. They are fast and very friendly. I would personally be comfortable leaving my stuff in the car but if you aren't, that's what they are there for.

Alternatively, if you are more concerned about getting out quickly in the evening than getting up in the morning, you could park at the TTC and take a bus to DHS in the morning. Busses aren't that frequent but your car would be in the right place.
