Laughing about the comment re: what was in Heather's hair! I thought it was a pencil also but if so, that's a pretty darn long pencil.

I kind of feel sorry for Adam. I like his character. I was so aggravated with Victor for complaining about how he turned on him. Sorry, but I think Victor made him turn out the way he is - Victor turned on him first.

Not feeling sorry AT ALL for Phyllis! I mean, really - she was fooling around with Nick while he was still with Sharon! What goes around, comes around!

God, I can't stand Gloria! Hope they lock her up and throw away the key.

Abby will come back and probably be close in age to Noah. I'm sensing a love triangle between Abby, Noah, and Eden.

Is anyone else tired of seeing John Abbott appearing as a ghost? I love that they keep him on the show, but so miss him being a real live character. Everytime he appears as a ghost, it just makes me mad that they killed him off! Do you think there is any way they could bring him back?

Amber continues her accusations about Kevin having a role in Katherine's death and vows to avenge Katherine's death. Jill gets a call from someone asking about Katherine's memoirs that have been published and are in bookstores now, she refuses to speak about them. "Marge" is gifted a foot spa by Murphy, she later recieves the same gift from her boss at the diner. "Marge" changes her plans and wants to do something big for Murphy tonight instead of on Christmas. Later, when "Marge" is on her way back home she slips and falls on the ice Esther and Jill open the gifts Katherine left for them. Jill gets scarves w/ a card saying she must show her feminine side that could land her a man!! Esther's is a new maid uniform w/ a card saying black did nothing for her complexion! Jill asks Cane about his relationship w/ Chloe, he says they're just friends but Jill thinks they could be more in the future Lily is pissed to find out that Billy is the guy she's been chatting w/ online. Later, Lily has a change of heart and is happy that Billy is Sonny. Adam tries to make a deal w/ Victor finally ready to sell Jack out but Victor refuses the deal. Victor lashes out at Adam for teaming up w/ Jack against him but tells Adam if he is Hope and Victor's son, he won't let jail destroy him and he'll find the strength to make him stronger. Michael arrives and tells Adam that he is being released until the charges against him are reviewed. Once again, Victor tells Adam he is Victor's son and he must be strong. Adam leaves.

Next -- Lily tells Olivia about her new guy; Victor is back at the ranch and tells Ashley all about his trip in Mexico; Gloria is still in jail, her sons visit. She knows they worry she'll bring them down w/ her

HONNY...Many thanks for all the UPDATES and SPOILERS!!! I am going to need them now more than ever. I have a ton of company coming for the holidays. Everyone gets here on the 24th and the last ones to leave will be on Jan 2nd!!! I will have NO time to sit and watch Y&R but I am so sure I will have time to spend a few minutes reading here on the Y&R thread!!!

I will also be reading here everyday now that, thanks to the 2 consecutive snow storms, we have no DirecTV at all.

We canceled DirecTV today since it hasn't worked in 2 days and they've come 3 times to fix it in a year (every time it rained and now snows we loose reception). We're getting Verizon now but they won't come till Dec 30.

I have not had a problem once; not even this weekend when it started snowing on Friday aft. and didn't stop until Sunday night. Comcast has Soapnet.com which repeats the daily episode of Y&R everynight at 7pm! They also show the whole week's episodes every Sat., starting at 7pm, I believe.

Not my idea - was my ex-husband's. And I stress EX! We stuck with them for so long because we were NJ transplants and DirecTV offered the NFL Sunday ticket - which allowed us to watch the Giants up here in NE every week.

Once the ex left, I re-examined our options. What really made me switch though was when we bought a hi-def TV and needed to switch over to a hi-def satellite receiver. DirecTV told me the only way to get the hiDef reception was to cut down some trees. Yeah right! IMO, satellite TV no longer offers exclusive services - we can get it all from our cable or wireless network.

We had Direct for a little while and hated it. We now have Dish Network and have no problems.

You can see the complete shows online at CBS.com. They do have short clips of Y&R as well, if you need to see what happened in a hurry. But they also have the complete shows. (or they did last time I checked). We have Soapnet on Dish, too, and they play all the week's episodes on Sat. night.

It was nice seeing Victor and Nikki being civil for a few minutes today. Hopefully they get back together. I just do not like the Ashley/Victor couple.

LOVE Katherine & Murphy together. It is nice to see them enjoying the simple things. I also hope that he stays with her when she gets her memory back.

It's Christmas Eve, Devon, Ana, Neil, Karen, Tyra, Olivia and Lily spend the holidays together Gloria tells her sons not to worry that she has no intentions of bringing them down w/ her Jill, Cane, Billy, Chloe and Esther spend the holidays together. Jill is missing Katherine Kevin tells Jana he's no longer pissed that she gave away the money Murphy gets a doctor to check Marge since she fell, the doctor is worried about her memory loss and plans on checking up on her later on. Later, while asleep "Marge" starts having flashbacks, she awakens and tells Murphy her name is Katherine Chancellor! Eden spends the holidays w/ Michael, Lauren, Fen, Kevin and Jana. They all try to cheer her up since she's upset her father abandoned her. Lauren is the one who gets through to her. Later, Lauren wonders where Michael is -- he's shown at a bar drinking and thinking he should've never been born. A burst of wind opens the door of the bar Victor has been released from jail and reunites w/ Ashley at the ranch. He briefly tells Ashley about what happened in Mexico, the part about his plan to lead Walter out on a boat in the storm. The rest is shown in flashbacks -- Victor reveals his identity to Walter, the storm gets worse, Walter begging Victor not to leave him but Victor does!

Next -- A classic Christmas episode from 1989 is aired Thursday while on the following day it is Michael basically seeing what life would be like without him -- Paul is dead, Victor is rotting in jail, Phyllis says Danny is dead and Lauren threatens to call the police on him. Michael cries he wants his life back
