Yet another TGM question!

I don't mind spending the money on TGM (it is not a lot!), but I'm concerned that we won't end up actually using the plan enough to make it worthwhile! We love things to be orderly and hate to wait but we don't like the idea of *having* to follow a plan or strict schedule. I feel so double minded about this - we want to get the most out of our trip but we hate to feel that we HAVE to do something!

IOW, how flexible can the TGM *plan* be? If we all suddenly feel like sitting on a bench, eating Mickey Bars and watching the parade one more time instead of heading for a certain ride or show, will it screw up the plan and we'll never actually have the chance to ride/see whatever we bumped in favor of sitting on a bench, eating Mickey Bars and watching the parade one more time???

I hope this makes sense!!

The TGM plans are as flexible as you want them to be! He'll tell you his recommendations for the best days for each park, as well as the optimum times for rides and attractions. What you do with that info is completely up to you! :) There's certainly plenty of room for stopping for snacks, etc.!

He has a money-back guarantee, and the tips I've gotten so far are definitely worth the price I paid, even though we've been to WDW every year since '98 (sometimes multiple times per year). His site is fun, upbeat and very informative.

I agree. Not only are the plans flexable, but he tells you all the "why" part too. So you learn to make smart choices even when you do not follow the "plans". That is how we use his advice. We go for 7-10 days and fairly often so the one day park plans don't always fit us, but we often use his first two hours in the park to the letter because he is so dead on right. Then we might deviate and do our own thing, but always with the knowledge of how to avoid crowds and lines.

His fastpass tips alone are worth the price to join. And his site is not all about touring plans, that is only a small fraction of what he offers. Join, you will not be sorry. If you are, he will give you your money back.

Some people think if the are WDW vetrans he will not have much to offer them, and while it is true that if you are new to WDW there is a lot more for you, we just bought the AVP for the 3rd time. His up to date crowd info and the friendly message boards are what we join for now, more than anything else. Of course I am courious to see what new touring plans he has up since last October... actually I am off to my AVP now!

I joined TGM about a month and a half ago... i thought to myself- what am i crazy spending money for someone to tell me things i already know about disney (been there 10 times and never with a plan!)

after playing around with TGM (hee hee  had to do it) just the fact that he tells you what days to go to/avoid what parks was money well spent for me!

like i said i never went with a plan- DH and i dont have kids and we just wing it when we go.....but now a days you need ADRs (and we were planning on going BEFORE the free dining anyway) i had to sit down and figure out which restaurant ADRs for which days. i felt overwhelmed but...

i sat down and and made my ADRs on the days that TGM said the parks would be less crowded and went from there.

DH admitted he does not like "hopping" as much as we usually do, so, i made a plan for each day to visit one of the parks TGM suggests (even tho we always end up at epcot at the end of the night!) and things are looking pretty good! :thumbsup2
