We kind of do this on our car trips. We grade the rest stop restrooms and gas station restrooms. Just something fun to do, we don't take it this seriously though. It's and A-F system. We grade on :
1. Do the stall doors close properly.
2. Are the toilets clean?
3. Is there toilet paper?
4. Is there a trash can in the stall?
5. Is there soap near the sink?
6. What kind of condition are the fixtures in?
7. Are there paper towels for hand drying?
8. Do the toilets flush properly?
9. Overall impression, cleanliness.
Many children are afraid of flushing the toilet. My DD is 8 and is scared to flush our toilet at home. I though she was alone in her fear, untill we had a slumber party at the house and most of the girls did not flush.
When we use a public restroom I normally have to go in the stall with her to cover up the auto-flusher, I glad to hear about the post it trick, I'm gonna have to try that one.
