Yachtsman Steakhouse

We ate at the Yachtsman Steakhouse several years ago. My husband wasn't very impressed. I would like to try it again this December. Has anyone tried this restaurant recently?

I ate there last summer and thought it was great. I had the filet mignon and dh had the prime rib. I also had creme brulee for desert. It was the best dinner of our trip and we're eating there again when we go back in July.

My answer was going to be almost exactly like this, LOL!

We ate there last summer and loved it! DH had the Filet Mignon and I had the Prime Rib. We got a free anniversary dessert. It was the best dinner of our trip and we are going back in July.

I should also add the Caesar salad, mashed potoates and creamed spinach were all excellent...and we loved the rolls with the garlic.

The tomato/mozzarella salad is also very good. This was our favorite meal last year.

On our first trip to YS DW said her steak was one of best she had ever had.
Next trip I think we were both a little disappointed, but it wasn't bad. The dessert sampler was the highlight.

Rick and I ate there this past march. My steak was great but Rick's t-bone had a lot of fat and gristle. Service was efficient but not overly friendly like in the past.

This makes my visits there so easy - they also make me a lovely veggie dish whenever I ask....

I LOVE the Yacht Club Galley and the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Kudos to the Yacht Club for having such good places to eat.

We went last year. We enjoyed the meal very much. However, there are other restaurants in this price range that we would go to before Yachtsman (Flying Fish, Jiko, Brown Derby).
