WW Weekly Weigh-in

I am so glad I found this thread. I am just in my fourth week of WW-So I definitely want to join in. I lost 2.6lbs my first week, and 2.6lbs my second week so I got my 5lb bookmark.

This week I was bummed out-I gained .4lbs and I am really worried about the holidays. We are not going to anyones house for Thanksgiving and I am going to camp at the deer lease with DS and DH-so I think not having the Thanksgiving left overs will help- I hope!!

Congratulations to all of you big losers-this thread is really great motivation for me to continue. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Wow, everyone is doing so well!

minnienurse, don't worry too much about a .4 gain. I always find that after I have a weigh-in like that, the next week I have a really good weight loss. Keep working it, "the plan will work, if you work it." Slow and steady, don't let the little gains throw you off track!!

I didn't weigh in last week (missed my WW meeting to work out!) but at today's weigh in I had a 2.2 weight loss for a total of 62 pounds lost since January!

When I get to the Polynesian in December noone is going to recognize me, lol!!

Weighed in on Monday. No loss, no gain; still at 141. This week shoudl be fun right? :sad2: Then I go to WDW on 12/4...did I *really* want to lose weight. :confused3 We get back on 12/12 and head right into Christmas season.

Ah well, I'll have a few months to reach my goal before bathing suit season. Oh, and I also bought an elliptical machine. Big investment, so now I have to put my mouth (or body) where my money is. :teeth: I figure that it's cheaper than health issues I'd have later in life if I weren't in shape.

I'll see y'all on Monday...weigh in after T-day. Oh no. :guilty:

Just checking in to see how everyone did today. I did really well. Its almost 6pm and we are done with dinner and I still have 10 points left, plus 4 AP!! And I was full and satisfied. I'm sure I could have packed away some rolls and extra helping of stuffing, but I didn't. I found that I didn't need it. I feel good and am looking forward to my dessert. Fresh berries with a yummy fat free fruit dip...mmmmm.

Nice job Stacerita. I did enjoy my day, but didn't track anything. Had a few slivers of pie, and then a few more slivers. I figure it was about 3 pieces total. Dinner was good, and I didn't have seconds. It was a special holiday, so back on track tomorrow, to hopefully prevent a gain on monday. Hope everyone had a great day.

I weigh in on Fridays so I tried my best to stay on program yesterday. I'm down 3.2 this week. I hit 25 pounds! It's encouraging but I know I still have a long road ahead of me.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!That's awesome. Just maintaining over Thanksgiving is great. Keep up the great work. :cool1:

My wiegh in was yesterday and I was a bit scared of what the scale would say. I stayed on program, but still felt like I was eating more than I would have had it not been holiday. But I am down 2.9!!!! I couldn't believe it. That brings me to 19.1 total. I am so pumped. Hopefully this week I will break 20.

Well, Thanksgiving weekend is over, and I gained 2 pounds :guilty: And now I'm off to WDW on wednesday. I hope the walking helps. I'm going to try and make healthy choices for my meals, rather than snack all day through the parks. Plus I've heard food portions are big, so maybe I can split with my DSil. I'm hoping to come back under 200 pounds, so I have 3.2 pounds to play with if I go crazy.

At WW they said they have a new program starting in 2 weeks with new books and everything. That will be after my vacation and I can start fresh that week.

Have a great week everyone.

So, it's the after-T-day-weigh-in and.....(drumroll, please).....I dropped another 3 lbs!!!!!  How the heck did I do that???? I had our regular Thanksgiving meal, Friday went to the symphony with DD and DH and ate total junk, then Saturday had T-day leftovers (hot turkey sandwhiches, yum!). But none the less, 3 lbs gone. :rotfl2: I'm down to 138!!! And I get a new banner soon!! Woo hoo!! :rotfl:

I just cannot contain my excitement over this. And when I hit 137 I'll be the weight I was at my first dr's appointment when I was pregnant. I haven't been here in over 8 years. Yay for me!! :cheer2:

And it looks like most of us are doing pretty good. For those of you with tiny setbacks, remember it is just that...tiny! You can do it if you get back on plan and track what you eat.

What a great bunch we are!!!

Sorry I've been MIA lately fellow WW WISHers..

Nor should you!!! :thumbsup2 Congrats!!! :cheer2: That's FAB-U-LOUS!!! :woohoo:

I didn't lose or gain over T-Day. I'm still at that shameful 69.5 tho. I don't DIS-serve the banner I'm 'wearing', haven't for a while now. :guilty:

Have a great week everyone! :goodvibes

Hey KimRaye, you do deserve that banner. You earned it and you will get back there. Like Winksst said, it's a little setback, and if you stick with it, you will do it. We all will do it!!!!!!

Congrats Winksst- great post holiday loss!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great week.

I was out of town so I did not weigh this week. According to my scale at home it looks like I didnt gain. So I will keep my fingers crossed when I go Saturday.

:offtopic: Mikamah-I see you leave tomorrow for Disney and it is your sons first trip. Our DS was about that age his first time in the world-its such a magical time. Enjoy!! :cloud9:

I know I have been MIA for a while, but I was away for a week and have been busy playing catch up. It is good to see that there are so many losers this week even though it was Thanksgiving....kudos to you all. All the maintainers should be proud too as it is hard when there is a holiday that is surrounded by food. For those of you who gained, I hope you are not beating yourselves up as it was a food holiday and it only comes around one time a year and today is a new day. Pick yourself up and have a better week!

I weighed in tonight and lost another 1.6 so I am down a total of 14.6....4 more ounces and I will be at the 15# mark. I am less to 10 lbs to MY goal, we will see this week if my doctor agrees and will give me a letter for WW. If I am aiming for WW's goal than I am 18 lbs away from that.

Keep on losing gang, I know this time of year is rough, but we have to support one another and keep remembering how good losing weight feels as opposed to how being overweight feels!!! Onward and downward!! :cheer2:

I just found this thread and could use the encouragement. I just came from the Doctor's office and got the annual lecture. I know I have to do something as it is affecting my health. They are starting up a WW at work program in January, and I plan on being there. I'm going to start now with just cutting back on some of the junk and watching my portions. Time to get serious ... My goal is too much to think about now, so my primary goal is to build up my stamina as we are going to Europe next summer and will be doing a lot of walking? Wish me luck and I will be reporting in if you don't mind!

 Welcome to WISH and to the WW thread, this is a great place to start for encouragement and support. Good for you for starting to cut back and watching your portions, this time of year is hard for many of us and every little bit helps.

Where in europe are you going? I lived in Italy for almost 9 years and know about all of the walking!!! You are smart to start building up a walking routine, it will make for a more enjoyable trip.

Thanks, Kim!!

I have one from my WW leader that I liked too:

Being overweight is hard.
Losing weight is hard.
Maintaining your weight is hard,
Choose your hard!
