That is a nice incentive to keep you motivated!

hey everyone
the meeting I went to for working at WW was just an informational meeting. I had emailed corporate to inquire about employment at WW, and they sent me a list of informational meetings to attend to find out more about working for WW. It was pretty informative; how the compnay works, how they pay, an overview of the job duties etc. I got an application, then I had to go online to do a questionaire, then I faxed my completed application yesterday. I got a call today to come in for an interview on Saturday! I really hope this works out for me. The pay isn't all that great, but I really feel I would enjoy working for WW. I am miserable at my retail job and really, really want to leave.

I think whatever it is lacking in pay will pay dividends in the rewards of working for WW. You will gain instant motivation, get to encourage others and you get to be at a ton of meetings. Good luck with your interview, I hope it all works out the way that you want it to.

:welcome: nurseintraining.

:grouphug: Hang in there to all who are yo-yoing!

::yes:: that's how I feel too. Let's face it, my pay for working retail isn't all that great either;) and I don't get the benefit of all of the above!

I didn't get a chance to weigh in yesterday, so I went this morning. I'm down another 2.2.

Looking forward to working on staying on track this weekend. I have a dr. appointment NEXT Saturday, and I really want to be under 160 on his scale.

There was a big sign about working for WW in my meeting today. Cepmom, are you at goal already, how long do you have to be there before you can ask about working for them?

congrats on your loss!!

I am at goal...I've been a Lifetime member since April 2008. You have to be a Lifetime member or within 10 lbs of reaching your goal to work for WW. When I went to my info meeting last week, there were a few women that had just reached Lifetime status within the past couple months so I don't think there's a specific waiting period.

good luck this week! :thumbsup2

Congrats Mary Anne!

I WI this morning and gained .4. I'm a little peeved, since this is my first gain after losing for 5 weeks since starting WW. Guess now I need to start exercizing! I know it happens, but it is a little downer when I've been so carefully counting points. And then to top it off my husband says, Oh you've only lost 7.4? I'm down about 10 pounds! (This is after he keeps telling me that he loses so slowly)

Thanks for letting me complain.
Sue

Dandemom (((hugs))) that darn scale has a mind of it's own some weeks. Just don't eat into it. It's like the devil tempting you too. As for your DH, sneak some 10 pt something into his 0 point snack (Just kidding).

Do any of you eat oatmeal on a regular basis? I can tell you that since I've started eating it at least 4 to 5 times a week (sometimes more) my weight loss has been more steady and I eat a lot less junk type (1 pt stuff) during the day. It has the type of fiber that PULLS the fat from you as it works through your system.

feel free to vent away! I remember when I had my first gain after being so careful with my points! It was so discouraging, but it did motivate me to get moving. Once I got into working out, the weight started to come right off again. Oh, and give your DH a slap for me will ya? ;)

I eat oatmeal pretty regularly and I noticed the same thing. It's my go to breakfast when I need to get my weight loss going again. I add a chopped up granny smith apple and cinnamon also and it's really good. It lasts me a long time which is nice on work days when I can't always get food right when I'm hungry.

I'm back from my interview and the good news I am officially a WW employee now! :woohoo:

The bad news is they don't have a meeting in my territory they need staffed yet :sad2: so for now I am stuck still working at my retail job

I will start training and then sub when needed. I am really excited to start! I just had to share with you all!
