WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

I was down. .8 at my weigh in on Thursday. Any downward # is just fine in my book.

I have been up and out for hours. Had a fasting dr. appointment for blood work. Walked about 2 miles, went to the German Butcher, stopped at the supermarket, and now am waiting for my husband to come home from work and then I need to do the laundry and pick up my work clothing from the dry cleaner. It's cold here but not too windy so it wasn't too bad out.

I was so excited to have lost 12 lbs on the Dr's scale since my last visit. He gave me a note for WW to set my goal at 147. I picked that # so that it would give me the 2 lbs weigh in limit to 149 and if I did hit 150 it would be a sign for me to check what I am doing.

I got the note today because I wanted to enjoy the last 12 lbs or so of the journey and have a real ah ha moment when I reached goal. You have no idea how many times, I'd get to the 152 mark and LOSE IT. That is why I needed to set a goal below 150 so that I could prove to myself that I could do it.

nurseintraining - when I see those point something loses, I use it as a positive to tell myself that the lose of the week before as a real loss as the scale is still moving down.

aimeeg I have been to WDW 3 times since starting WW last May and I have come home with a lose every single time. DoleWhips do seem to be the most point friendly - 2 pts for a 1/2 cup. Also the sugar free/fat free icecream from the food courts are a good choice for an end of the day treat. Counter service, ask for the fruit instead of the fries. Bring your own popcorn and pop it in the microwave in the food court. I'd personally pass on the veggie burger in Peco Bills - no at all worth the points! If you're going to eat their have an extra point or two and get a real burger (just skip the fries). Bring your own treats. You will walk and that will make a difference too. Have a wonderful trip.

Hi everyone,
Just joining in today. I joined WW in January, and yesterday I reached the 10 pound mark. I am determined to become a life time member.I have come very close before, and then things happen, stop going, and pounds start creeping on again. I figure I have anywhere from 15 to 20 pounds more I would like to lose!
I am looking forward to reading all of the advice and stories on this thread, and hoping I can contribute as well!

Hi everyone -reached my 5% goal this week!

:banana::banana: Awesome!

well!

Welcome!

Hi guys! It looks like I am getting back on track.

I was down 4 lbs tonight. Though in reality, I think that some of that was from last week but there was just too much sodium in the chinese food that weekend.

Excellent! You are always so positive for us, it is nice to see your wonderful progress!

I discovered if I used my own real oatmeal it really did taste better. I make regular oatmeal (not quick oats) cooked according to directions, with water.

I use my own oatmeal too. I add a little Smart milk, equal or SF maple syrup and a banana. So good!

I've been MIA for a while. I've been really struggling lately. The weight has been very slow coming off. Even have had small increases the past few weeks. Last week I was ready to chuck the whole thing, but after having a good conversation with my leader, I came away with a renewed focus.

I think that a struggle is part of a weight loss plan. Sometimes it feels like everyone else is always on track and there are no bumps in the road but I don't think that is true for the majority of people. It si good that you were able to discuss with your leader and that you are focused once again. I wonder if the winter blahs play into this, I have been wishing for Spring and a new outlook.

I came to the WISH board tonight looking for WW points for WDW.

So in four weeks I have lost 16.8 pounds. I weighed in today and lost 3.6. Each day is a little brighter and I am happy. I am still kicking myself but I am hopeful!!

Congratulations! I am a Core girl too. I don;t have a point list for WDW and honestly I fell of the WW wagon with my first piece of cornbread so my gut feeling is to stick to Core while you are there. As soon as I had some sugar in a sweet bread I was craving and eating all week long. I am not sorry I just jumped back on when I got home but worry that you are so early in the program that you may get discouraged if you change and have a setback.

Now, no more kicking yourself. You are back and on track and doing well!

I haven't post in forever but I feel that its finally time to admit my faults.

Ever since Christmas I've been having the hardest time. I have lost and gained the same 2/3 lbs and its driving me crazy!!!

I just can't seem to get past this hump and out of this funk.

Tonight I lost again and it put me back to 175.8, the exact same weight I was the first week of December. UGH!

I suggest you stop looking at December and look at this weeks loss. It is a good one, you are back on track. No more rear view window.....We are all moving forward now after a winters worth of glitches. I am right there with you....hoping I can et past the winter blahs that had me migrating into the kitchen more often than I should have.

ok, so I just got back from my meeting, and I am down 0.2 (AGAIN!) I know a loss is a loss, but why? I am gonna keep going, try to be positive and hopefully the scale will catch up soon!!

My DDIL Erica .2'ed her way to 40 pounds. She was an inspiration to all of us, she just kept moving forward .2 by .2. We always hear about the big losses but I imagine that there are more .2's then 2 pounds. Stay positive, the scale will move and if you look at your clothes you will see the changes. If you are exercizing you may me making muscle and the scale will not show that but your clothes will.

Okay ladies. It is my confession time. I have had a horrible two weeks and today I pay the piper. I am a Core girl and need to have a meal strategy in place. My DH Aunt was in the hospital adn we knew we would lose her so we spent every night there. There was more but I was so off track. I am going to WI tonight and will see the damage that two weeks of no plan wreaked but am so glad taht I have you all here for support. I seem to detox on core so I will be having a tough few days.

I would love to join in on this group. I just signed up for WW on Thursday and started the Momentum Program online today. I have a long road ahead. My first long term goal is to be able to ride Dumbo with my son when we visit Disneyworld the first week of December. Here is looking forward to an exciting adventure.

Welcome! I can't wait for your trip report in December! You will not just be riding Dumbo, you will be having a blast! My DD signed up for WW in the beginning of last year, her goal was to lost for a December trip with her DD. I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it was to watch her with Kady, with the weight off came so much more! What a nice incentive you have given yourself and your family!

Well I weighed in and gained 2.4 lbs. It was not as bad as I thought but I am not going to keep that little package! Back on track!

Congrats on the 5% from the previous poster!!!

I had my weigh in tonight and lost 3.4 pounds!!! My first week back and on track! I am very pleased!!! My Easter challenge should defintely be reachable!!!

Life doesn't always cooperate with what we have planned for ourselves, so whatever the WI is accept it for what it is and move forward. I am sorry to hear about your aunt.

I had my monthly weigh in on friday and I am still at goal....wishing I was at my 5 pound cushion, but not quite making it there, but still trying!

party:Happy Birthday wishes to Mikamah, Happy Birthday, Kathy!!! I hope you are having a wonderful day. party:

Did I miss birthdays? Happy birthday to Kathy and Mikamah! I hope you both had wonderful days.

Thanks Debbi and Nancy. I haven't been here in so long, and it was such a surprise to come and see your post. I had a good birthday, and now with spring just around the corner, I need to get myself remotivated. I've been playing with the same 3-4 pounds for the past 3 months. Unfortunately I'm right near the 200 mark, and I'm sure I'm going to go back over 200 tomorrow when I weigh in after skipping my meeting last week, going away for a few days, and my birthday. My only consistency is exercise. 5-6 days/week, I get up and do a video before I start my day, and I know that is what has kept me from gaining back more weight. I'll check back in tomorrow after ww, and I hope to be back here more often.

I'm so sorry about your aunt. Hang in there, cut yourself some slack for the stress you've been under, know you can get back on track.
So, I drove by WW for three weeks before I could face walking in. Finally on that fourth week with my head held in shame I walked through the door. It is the best thing I ever did because 45 minutes later I walked out holding my head high feeling hopeful!

So in four weeks I have lost 16.8 pounds. I weighed in today and lost 3.6. Each day is a little brighter and I am happy. I am still kicking myself but I am hopeful!!

We are taking our family to WDW in three weeks. We are surprising our oldest who is turning five. Does anyone know of a magical WDW point list? I am a core girl at heart so I am doing the simply filling technique. I was considering switching to points during our trip if I can find the points values.
Congrats on your loss so far. You are doing awesome. I've been to wdw 3 times since I've been doing ww, and twice did not gain. I tried to drink plenty of water and stayed away from fried foods. It's a vacation, and you're so busy it's hard to track, but you do so much walking that you definitely burn a lot of calories. Dole whips are awesome, and fat free. Have a wonderful trip.

 I'm in the same boat. Hang in there and don't give up. We can do this. It can take a long time, but we are making lifestyle changes that will last forever, and the weight will stay off forever too.

All those small losses do add up to big pounds. You are doing awesome and that positive attitude will help you go far.

I'm back from my interview and the good news I am officially a WW employee now! :woohoo:

The bad news is they don't have a meeting in my territory they need staffed yet :sad2: so for now I am stuck still working at my retail job

I will start training and then sub when needed. I am really excited to start! I just had to share with you all!
Congrats on working for WW!! That is awesome and what a great way to keep you on track.

I had my monthly weigh in on friday and I am still at goal....wishing I was at my 5 pound cushion, but not quite making it there, but still trying!
Wonderful that you're still at goal, my friend. Never give up, we must never give up.

Congratulations to all the losers here! You are all inspiring me to keep on fighting.
