WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

Just wanted to jump on real quick before bed. I had my WI today and I maintained. I'm happy with that. I totally expected some gain with the 4th and trying to get back into a routine after getting home from WDW. Our leader gave us a challenge for this week....to eat all 5 fruits/veggies each day. That's our "theme" for the month of July. Today I did great! Got all fruits & veggies in. I know, I know, it's only the first day, but ~ hey ~ it's a start! :thumbsup2

I could have wrote this post myself. I stayed the same this week and was relieved. I didn't do well over the holiday!
 
Today was my WI, and I had a great week. Not only did I lose the 2 lbs of "hormonal weight" I gained last week, I lost another 2 lbs, and hit my 10lbs star! :banana::banana::banana:

I wasn't sure how I'd do this week. I knew I'd done well with my points, but I've been sick the whole time and didn't earn a single exercise point. I had an odd day yesterday. I was just plain *NOT* hungry. And that just doesn't happen to me. I'm *always* hungry! I think it's to do with being sick still, but I just didn't want to eat. At about 9pm, I realized I still had 9 daily points I *had* to eat for the day. And I admit, I was a very bad girl and ate the whole lot in ice cream... :rolleyes1: But it felt sooo good on my throat!

Goal for next week: -1 lb! :thumbsup2
 
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! :cool1: It's always great to see an unexpected loss! A trip to Denmark sounds like a great reward! Have fun!

Thanks! Denmark will be lovely, I was there as an exchange student in 1989 and have been back not often enough even though it is not far at all from Germany!

Sometimes maintaining is already an acchievement! To be honest, as long as I don't gain I don't mind weeks now and then when my social life caused me to stay the same. Having fun with family and friends is important, too. :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had a similar experience to me! And while ice cream is not the healthiest of foods, if you don't do that regularly, why not? To me that is one of the great things about WW, it teaches you to keep a healthy diet on a regular basis, but also teaches you how to incorporate off days without them becoming regular and doing damage. :goodvibes

I haven't weighed in the past two weeks so I was a little worried, but I was down 1.5 this week. Unfortunately I had gained when I was at Disneyland a few weeks ago, so I am basically back to where I was a month ago:rolleyes:

I started my aqua aerobics class a few weeks ago and have managed not to skip a class yet (I don't have a great track record). I also started my official training for the Disneyland 5k. I am hoping to walk 2 minutes/ run 2 minutes. Hopefully my body will be as willing as my brain is:rotfl:

I SWEAR that I saw this somewhere this week, and can't, for the life of me remember where! Anyway, today for lunch I had leaf lettuce with a little smear of FF veg dip (FF sour cream & FF Hidden Valley Ranch veg dip mix) and then added the Broccoli slaw & rolled it up. It was very YUMMY and filling! 2 Tbsp. of the veg dip (prepared) is 0 points, so for nothing I had a great lunch!! :cool1::cool1:

Ok...went today, after not weighing in last week due to holiday and not being able to go another day...

down 4.4 lbs!!! Yeah. I'm very excited I started back at work last week after my maternity leave and that's where I tend to have a hard time, packing my lunch to go along w/program. But I think I did well.

So it's a total of 11.4 lbs! I checked BMI and it's down 2 pts! Very excited about that one. If only I could exercise more...but I have an injured ankle that PT didn't help at all. Hopefully MRI will show something been dealing w/pain for 7 months!

I hope to lose another 20-25 before our trip the last week in October.
 
First off congradulations on your new grandchild. She a wonderful moment in your life.

OK let's get down to business. You admit you have no idea if you have had a gain or how much. What is the worst that it can be you've gained back your original loss and maybe some more. It doesn't matter, you acknowledge it, you move on. Don't let this moment in time become a 50 lb weight gain. You can do this. Get on the scale, acknowlge the moment no matter what it will be and move on.

You know what I did yesterday, I ate 51 pts. At one point, I was eating like a druken sailor and you know what when I got up this morning I said to my husband, I felt like i had a hang over. I hadn't had one drop of liquor (heck I'd rather eat my points then drink 'em) but you know what I charted every one of them. Ate all my daily points yesterday (ya think!) and a good part of my weekly's but you know what so maybe I'll be up on the scale Thursday. It is not going to stop me from going to my meeting and weighing in. Today, I got up-- ate normal (Ok I did drop down to weight loss pt vs. maintenance pts) and went to the gym and earned 7 Activity Pts. It's all about giving and taking. Move forward, don't stop. This program works.

Don't worry about the ladies and the scales, who cares what they think. It's what you think about yourself that is more imporatant. you are facing your situation and building upon it. Go shopping and buy on program foods for the week. Prepare them, build in some "ww friendly treats" don't deprive yourself. Hell with everything I ate yesterday, I made sure I've got 2 pts left today for my WW treat.

Good luck to you. Go weigh in and report back here. Not one of us will say "there she goes again" we'll all be saying "Good for her, she's working the program, no matter what"

I'm going to the movies tonight. Is there ANY kind of snack I can have???

As the other posted stated, I always take my own 1 pt popcorn, in my purse. I also take some of the WW Cappuccino chews which will last through the whole movie.

I love Raisinets, but too many points, so I take a small snack box of raisins with one of the 2 pt WW chocolate bars and eat the raisins and the bar together, which is almost as good as Raisinets. I also drink a LARGE diet soda which also fills me up during the movie.

ooooohhhh. good ideas! Dd and I will be at the theater at midnight tomorrow night to see Harry Potter so I will need an idea or two. I love air popped popcorn with butter spray and salt so will make some to take in my purse.
 
I can report that I lost another 0.9 pound. Not a lot, but all these small steps get me closer to my goal and I am happy with that! I am getting close to my 10 % goal!!

Thanks for all the support I get here. I am struggling sometimes, but thinking about all the good advice I read here, really helps! :goodvibes
 
Today I completed 8 weeks of WW. I lost 2.4 pounds which puts me at my 10% goal!!!! I have lost a total of 19.4 pounds so far. I am setting my goal this week and will aim for another 30 pounds, hopefully by the end of the year. :cool1:

I am down 1.4 this week. I am actually really surprised (and happy) because I haven't exercised much this week. I hurt my leg a bit on Saturday and when I exercised on Monday it really tightened up. I think I need new walking/running shoes. I don't think the ones I have are cushioned enough. I also ate a bit more this week, so I wasn't expecting a loss. I'll take it though:banana:

I have been a little MIA, I have been off my wagon a bit and tend to skulk, but no more of that. I have been back on track and tracking my food so that I am not right back where I started from last year. I understand the "hangover" feeling from eating foods that have not been a regular part of my healthy lifestyle, it is not good!

Anyway, just stopping by to see how all are doing and to congratulate you all on your successes!

Movies are tough so I just bring my own popcorn and fruities. I have one of my DGD's treats and that is all I allow myself. I also do the same thing for fast food. (Hangs head in shame admitting "My name is Nancy and I am a Fast Food junkie") When we take Kady to a mcDonalds I have two of her fries. I love them but she knows that I only can eat two. Have yoiu ever tried to steal food from a girl????????? It is less humiliating to just eat tow and let the rst go gracefully :thumbsup2
 
Ok i weighed in this morning and i am down another 3.4!!! I am so excited; now I feel all of my effort is paying off. :yay:
 
I just got back from my meeting today, and although I gained .6, I was happy it wasn't more. We left for Disney on 7/10 and got back 7/16. I tried to make good choices, but honestly I didn't do a very good job. I found that I did worse on the last half of the trip and the ride home because I was just so exhausted I didn't want to think about what I ate. When we got home on Thursday, my feet and ankles were crazy swollen, I guess because of all the driving. They are pretty much back to normal now, though. I've been back on track since we got home, so maybe next week I'll have a loss.
