Would you use italian dressing left out overnight?

I don't know if it is still good or not and I wouldn't find out! That's just me. But I'm a loon about food, fridges, expiration dates, etc.

If it isn't in the fridge 2 hours from the stove/oven, I toss it. In the fridge over 48 hours, I toss it. If it hits the "Sell by" date, I toss it.

My dad makes fun of me. He served in Vietnam and said they were given "K-rats" (canned food) from World War II to eat. They'd just open it up and if it didn't smell bad, they ate it...and they were fine. I'd have to be starving to eat 30 year old food...if the beans expired yesterday, I toss them!
