Would you accept an invitation to a " pig pickin' "

I would go to a pig pickin'. We have not been invited to one yet. We have many good b-b-q places in our area. Can't have any pork bbq today---lenten firday. My dh wants one for a big celebration in the future.

Never heard of a pig pickin' before, but we have "hog roasts" here on our farm occasionally.

When my in-laws lived next door they would invite their Jayco camper club to camp on the farm for the weekend. There would be campers in the yards and all down the air-strip. Lots of different activities would be planned for the weekend, with the highlight being the hog-roast Saturday night. Yummy!!
