Would an Ap be a smart choice for me?

I am not sure how much the discount could be for on site hotel. Our plans.

5 Traveling march 2017, the cheapest AP would be in the black out dates. so I think cost $344. Buy one AP and 4 more tickets needed, 2 day tickets. or buy Two AP tickets and 3 two day tickets . We are staying royal pacific one night. And 5 blue man group tickets.

2 who could be buying the AP from the March trip will return May for a one night stay RP and then 2 more two day tickets would be purchased by friends going with us, in the same room.

What way might be cheaper: buying the the AP or APs and getting discounts on the rooms and other tickets; or just buying all two day tickets for both trips?

Thanks

If you are going in March, you will be there during school spring break

Could be high room rates

What prices are seeing for the deluxe or value hotels onsite?

You know what ticket prices and AP are now but check out room rates and list the cost

You could estimate between 10 to 20% for possible room discounts

That can give you an idea if buying AP would be better than tickets for your group

Don't think the ticket change will be in effect until June when Volcano bay opens up

$500 and change for the march night. $369 for the May night plus $50 more for all over 18 charge. We want FOTL.

Easy answer
Book a deluxe

At $970 for room 2 nights, compared to two days of ep for both parks for 5 people for two days, onsite would be better deal

Book now and watch in case the rates drop
If that happens, call and have your reservation modified to the lower rate

If you find AP rates are out and give you a decent discount, buy one

You don't have to have the AP in order to book a room that has the AP discount

You show your AP once you buy it and activate it at the parks

Show the AP before you check out to jeep the discounted rate

But once you see AP rates available do call reservation to have your room rate reflect that lower rate

When you book, you pay a one night room at that time to secure your room

Once you modify your rate, all the deposit is applied to your costs owed once you check out if the hotel

While I was looking for universal tickets today. I rechecked the seasonal pass blackout dates and now neither trip dates are in the blackout. I must of missed that last time.

So DD and I can get a seosonal pass for $289. We can use two days March and two days May. No AP rates out now but who knows :)

Does anyone know what the ticket discounts are on a Seasonal Pass? I had been planning on getting a Preferred Pass, where I believe I read that I would get a 15% discount on other tickets. Is it the same for a Seasonal Pass? 15% off beats almost everyone's third-party prices, like Undercover Tourist.

I may be wrong but when I called to ask about the seasonal pass, I was told you were only allowed into the islands side on concert days in March.

According to what has been said about this new Seasonal Pass...I would tend to agree with you.
