Came as a bit of a shock to me that Christmas is 2 weeks on monday!!! Anyway DH has written the cards and I`ve made a list of things to do - will start tomorrow.
Thanks Jodie, we've just had a lovely meal. We were supposed to have a free bottle of champagne with it, but as none of us like champers, the restaurant decided to give us 2 bottles of wine instead, and as I drink most of it - I'm feeling rather tipsy now
I'm still recovering from the weekend. On Saturday we went to see Santa Claus 3. Yesterday we went shopping, then to see Cinderella the panto and out for a meal.

Just when I'm starting to feel Christmassy I've had the wind taken out of my sails. Just nipped to our local garden centre/tourist attraction (they sell silly visitor knick knacks!) which usually have a wonderful Christmas department displayed from October, to find the decorations have nearly all gone and they are not even reduced yet!!!! Feels like its all over.
My youngest DD has started to get her Christmas pressies from her friends at school, she's had some lovely make-up sets so far (it's a shame she has absolutely no willpower and just has to open them straight away)
