Wong-tinez: A Cultural Phenomenon FINAL UPDATE Pg79 #1176 & 1177 NEW PICS

Well, here is the picture of Jon and his teacher...when Jon got his award! Errrrmmmmm...see how thrilled he looked? I don't know why it came out so dark...

But, I sure did laugh when I saw the look on his face! (look at him compared to the other 5th grader next to him...granted, that boy is built bigger, but is the height of most of the other 5th graders)

He also has had a stomach flu today. Shortly after his award ceremony, he came to my office and said he didn't feel well. He was green as green can be...poor baby. I brought him home and he was sick for most of the afternoon. But, he did eat a little tonight and seems to be feeling a little better. He missed 5th grade BBQ...poor little dude!

I knew that you said you did speech therapy but I didn't know you worked at his school. DS has been in speech. His teacher gave him the year off and will tset him again in the fall to see if he's still up to par. I had speech for several years in elementary school. The reason I bring it up is his speech teacher is a Disney nut too. I haven't really spoken with her since I started posting here but will probably ask her the next time I see her if she knows about this place. When you walk in her office there is Disney stuff EVERYWHERE. I think she said they go about every year.

That other kid is way bigger than Jon. Do you eat meat? A friend of mine and I were discussing how people are generally bigger these days. There were six boys in his family. The oldest three were much shorter than the younger three. During the middle of them growing up is when hormones started to be used all the time in the cattle industry (and I'm sure other industries). There are four kids in my family and my oldest sisters really aren't tall at all but my brother and I are above average (not huge but much taller than them).

I'm sure that you already know why he's not as tall but I always find that topic interesting. ;)

Jen, DS is darling, cute as can be. The kid next to him is very tall. Must be hormonal. ;)

Absolutely! Just tell me how much I owe you. ;) We're not doing the dining plan this year so I'm not sure how much cash I will be carrying around (we always carried around a handful of fives to supplement tipping when needed) but I can go ahead and put it in an envelope and stick it in my bag. :goodvibes

Parla...I'll get the stuff and do it...then you only need to pay me back for the cost...it should only be a few bucks! Just tell me what color!

Jon has stopped growing essentially, but we don't know why yet! The other kid next to him is built bigger, but is the height of most of the other 5th graders...my Jon is just a little bitty...that's all! But, we don't eat a lot of beef at all, we're more a poultry kinda fam! Interesting though!

;) Doesn't Jon look sooooooooo happy?? :rotfl2:

Love the look on Jon's face :rotfl2: Can't believe his teacher is wearing jeans  Over here most teachers wear suits and all kids have to wear uniform!

That would be really great! Do you need to know her waist size or anything? Pink, pink, pink! ;)

We only get to wear jeans on spirit day...which is on Fridays. Otherwise, we have to wear slacks. But, every friday, we get to wear jeans and our school shirt. Which is good for me, because I'm veeeeeery casual, and I play with my kids on the floor!

:rotfl: Love the look on his face. Looks like he's thinking he would rather be anywhere but there!

:rotfl2: Of course later that day, he was throwing up...so I can't tell if he was just reeeeallly excited or sick...:confused3 :rotfl:

Okay, I already got the supplies...just measure around her waist and send me that measurement! :)

This is Alexis...my 3 year old niece. She calls this her "Tinkerbell princess skirt!" She thinks she can now fly...is it bad that I told her she couldn't!?!

I wish I could make myself one...

Jen, I showed my girls your niece's skirt and they want one, each. princess: Maybe after your trip I can send you the $$ and con you into making two? :flower3: She looks so cute! Even Gabby who is 10 and cooler than cool, or so she thinks, was saying how pretty they were. :thumbsup2
