I have a great idea ..when in the parks why dont the children carry their own crap!!!![]()
I called Jennifer and ask her if she thinks Jon will wear a Fanny Pack. At first she giggledand then I began to explain that if he did the kiddos could carry a snack and their pins, some line distractions and all other good stuff we dont feel like lugging around. It took a little coaxing but then she was in.
So, during an amazing stroke of luck Jennifer found DIS Fanny Packs on clearance and bought a couple for the children. We are going to fill them up with goodies and give it to them when we board the flight out .hopefully it will keep them entertained on the plane!!! Here is what I have for them so far: bubbles, a light up Mickey Mouse sucker, play-doh, some goopy putty stuff with bugs in it, snacks, fans and some fun glow stuff!!! I am sure I will find other things to stick in their before the day comes any ideas??
Each morning before hitting the park we are going to let them pick out a new snack and choose what they carry in their packs. One less thing I have to worry about!!!![]()
Make sure you check the bubbles and goopy putty stuff as that is liquid and not allowed on the plane.
We had some gooey stuff on the way back to NJ and the guy let us slide, but it really should have gone in the trash he said...
Good idea though....
OOOHHHH, thanks for the reminder!!! How was your trip??? DID you have a great time? Are you doing a TR and I have missed it???
Okay,I am hooked.I have read every post and can't wait for the actual trip.Your kids are adorable, the tutus are fabulous, etc. We did fannypacks with my kids every trip and it worked well.Well my DS11 used a slingbag last trip but as long as they carried their own stuff I did not care how it was done. With four kids it can add up.
Jennifer,I loved the pic of awards day.My DD8 is opposite though. When she stands with her class she is a almost a full head taller than the next tallest in her class. Her best friend is the shortest. My DS9 calls her his big little sister. Is there a hormome to slow growth??
Do ya'll have a Disney store near you.My younger three liked this little Disney themed coloring books that I got there. They were the size of a small memo pad.Throw in a few crayons and they had something to do when waiting. My oldest took his NintendoDS.
Fo shizzle my dizzle!![]()

I was getting us ready to go to the Dr. and something reminded me of something.Anyway, the pic of the crocs purchased for Jon.I have those and I call them my winter crocs. My feet really sweat in them when it is hot.I like the ones with holes for hot weather.![]()
I've been over there a few times...but not much! I'll come and read!
He didn't want holes...he is not holey...![]()
People...
We have like 16 days left before our vacation. In two weeks I will leave for Tera's house...EXACTLY TWO WEEKS!!!
We will be doing our shirts and Tera will be paring down my 14 suitcases into one...(yea...right!)
In two weeks the girls will be back together...Dam has already upped his meds in order to better deal with us! He has also recently invested in a helmet...because the crap will be flyin' people!!!
To come later today...TERA MADE ME BUY PINS!!!!! THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE...WE HAVE MORE DISNEY CRAP THAN WE KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH
I'll bet that it's exciting that you're so close to your trip!![]()
I'm trying to figure out how to pack our stuff without checking luggage. I'm almost there except that I don't have a bag for myself. DS is using his Cars suitcase, DD is using her Princess suitcase, DH is using our only carry-on size suitcase. We have a similar one but it is a couple of inches too big in each direction and we have the duffel we used back on our honeymoon as a carry-on but it's way to long for what NWA has posted on their website (they say 9x14x22). Will they let me use a trash bag? Is it worth buying another bag to skip waiting to pick up checked luggage? I'm all set except for figuring this out.I even found a great deal on my favorite shampoo that included little bottles of shampoo and conditioner (I bought four so we could each take some even though DD and I will be the only ones using them. The boys can use the free Disney stuff!
).
There is not a chance in you know where that I would be able to do carry-ons. Tera is already not letting me bring everything I wan to. How in the heck am I gonna fit all that stuff in one suitcase? I need extras for just in case.
