'Wonder'ful Ship of Fools-We're Crusin' in April(15-22)

I didn't know we could even see what our rotations are going to be before the cruise! I don't have any preferences but Parrot Cay on Pirate night was fun! But, I think they make it fun no matter what restaurant you are in!
:rotfl:

I just got a call from AAA and My DISNEY STUFF has ARRIVED!!!! :cheer2: I am going down this afternoon to pick it up (luggage tags ect.)
I think the meeting place sounds great :grouphug:
I have heard that Tritons is the one to have for formal and Parrot Cay for Pirate so fingers crossed:) :goodvibes
Have to go take a shower now so I can go get package!!! :dance3:
4 Weeks to go :yay:

Ok, So i was at one of my specialists (Library Class) I walk in, and my Mom walks up to me. "WE GOT OUR CRUISE DOCUMENTS" She says and I'M SO HAPPY! (My mom helps out in the library in case you didn't know) YAY!!! Cant wait ^^

I saw this and thought some might like to know about what someone just posted from a trip on the Wonder this month

We sailed on the Wonder 3/11

Best things:
1. over the door shoe holder to hold everything! We will be taking this on all vacations now. It was so convenient and kept everything neat.

2. powerstrip- There were only 2 plugs and the were so close together. The powerstrip was a life saver!

3. our own beer and wine. :)

4. Pillowcases and fabric markers for the characters to sign. I dropped them at guest services the first night ( with some candy for the signers). They were delivered near the end of the week. So cute and so easy!

5. A paper towel that I had dampened and put dawn dish soap on. I then let it dry and cut it into pieces and put them in a ziploc. It was great to use to wash our tervis tumblers easily.

6. Packed kids clothes in gallon zip loc bags - 1 outfit per bag. SO easy! They could pick out their own clothes each day - and I knew that they would match. And I had a lot of zip loc bags for stuff (like ice in the beverage cooler)!

7. Pins that we purchased on Ebay for trading (although you must watch the sellers to make sure that you get legit pins).

8. Lots of ones for tipping luggage porters and room service.

9. Extra hooks for the shower (suction cup ones) to give extra hanging room for wet suits. I also brought the 3M Command damage free hooks. We used these to hang low hooks for the kids jackets. - You will need jackets- it can get quite windy and cool... you just never know!

10. A lanyard/pouch that will hold your kttw card and your wave phone. We bought some from Passporter that were great- clear spot to hold card easily, a zipper section, and a larger section that perfectly held the phone.

Things we didn't need:
Alarm clock- the room had a small ipod alarm clock.

Hope this helps someone

Thanks for all the info! Putting the kids clothes in ziploc bags is a really great idea! Yay on getting the cruise docs!!!!

We were planning on parking at the port, but I think I just found us a way to save almost $100 on that parking! We are staying at the Best Western and they don't charge for parking. They are 3 miles away from the port! If anyone else is looking at parking at the port, this might be the way to go!

wish my kids were still young enough for me to pick out their clothes! I'll be happy if they get the dirty clothes in one spot! Speaking of which, dryer sheets help keep closets with dirty clothes from getting too ripe, it helps to pack a few or you can buy them in the laundry rooms for a dollar.

cool :goodvibes

Just wondering, did anyone make magnets for the fish extender gifts? If so and you want it to be a surprise to most, please just send me a private message. Just doing some brainstorming!!
Also, just a reminder, you can decorate your cabin doors with things that are magnetic and a dry erase board is a great way to communicate (but make sure you have strong enough magnet, mine kept falling off the door every time the door was opened or closed last time!). Magnetic post its are also a great way to communicate with your own family as you're spread all over the ship as well!

I decided against doing magnets so if you still want to GO FOR IT!!!:flower3:

I can not believe we are down to 23 days... I am starting to get concerned with all of my free time that I don't have... Evan is finally off track and won't go to school until the Monday following our cruise. Brittani should be going tomorrow to get her driver's license, please pray for the entire family, as she thinks this means she can drive us part of the way to southern cal.

We just booked our hotel for Disneyland night, and then have the one at the port. There is an app for the smart phone called ship mate, and there is a man who works for a limo company in Orange County that we tried to get a limo to drop us off... but that would defeat the point of parking at the hotel.

Now to discover how to fit everything into the car... Might have to tie the kids to the roof!:lmao:

We finally got our cruise docs! Just over three more weeks!!!!!!!

Congrats Kathy on the Doc! How exciting! Makes it all seem so real at this point!
We still don't have room assignments.. When looking at the ship, I have a feeling that we will be on deck 2, as all they have ava is a 9A for oceanview!

I wanna go in a limo X.X :sad2: That would be FUN!
I've been sick  So ya >> :headache:

Just want to mention one thing... there are hairdryers in the bathrooms. But, they are a little gutless so if you have long hair or several people who will need to use it, you may want to pack one of your own!

Sorry to hear you don't feel well Catilyn. Evan ended up being snotty today. But it is better that you kids get it out of your system now! We have put the house on a vit C kick!

Thanks for the heads up on the blow dryer. We will pack one, and if you see me running with wet hair, I will be headed to the room that has the blow dryer in it as I'm sure it will be with Brittani!

20 days left!!!!

Think we should start a packing list and have everyone add to it each day! Maybe get some great ideas!

I'm going on a cruise and I'm going to pack....
My kids!
Thought that'd be a good place to start! :-)
