'Wonder'ful Ship of Fools-We're Crusin' in April(15-22)

USUKMAma- yeah I try to check the website once a day myself. Can't wait to see the Stateroom status to change from GTY to an actual room #!

sjlnv, yes I really hope well all get our documents this week. . just another sign we are getting closer to the big day. . We shall see. . .

We are in the Los Angeles area, about a hour north of San Pedro.

Hello Everyone,
Yes we have our cruise Docs, it is locked in now:cool1: I agree with SJLNV that the kids will be happy with any goodie in their FE, But as far as favs, Tanisha loves Tigger, Sean loves Tinker Bell, Liam has no fav yet (he loves his older bro) and I am partial to the Villains (Love Disney's dark divas). Goofy's Kitchen is a restaurant in the Disneyland hotel buffet style that has characters come and visit each table to interact with the guests, its great fun, kids love the one on one with the characters and the food is really good.
We are in Los Angeles, so very close to Disneyland and the port, we plan on going to Goofy's kitchen sat night and will have Sean's character calls that day and night to get him excited for the cruise (which is not needed at all). We can't wait to set sail and meet all of you, expecting a very fun trip.
C you real soon, Hope I don't have to tell you Y.
P.S. Now you see why my DW calls me corny...lol

We live in Issaquah WA we will be taking a plane to LAX. Bad news is we have to wake up at 4AM to get on the plane… we should arrive around 9.

YAAY!:woohoo:
We now have 6 pm reservations for Goofy's kitchen. We will be spending the afternoon in downtown Disney, then 6 pm dinner with Goofy. If anyone would like to join us, let us know and we can plan a meet somewhere. Sean loves playing with the Legos in the Lego store.
C you real soon, Y well you know why:hippie:.

 JEALOUSY now I gotta go ask my mom:woohoo:

So 3 Men - 7 Women - 1 Teen - 3 Boys/1 Girl 10 and over - 3 Boys/3 Girls 5-9 and 1 Baby is how it breaks down .... If people want to think gift buying this way:)
Off to pay my sears card -yuck

Ok, since several of you have enough for more than one night, then we can double up a few nights (especially when we are at sea).
Here is the list so far and added is the schedule for what nights everyone has. Let me know if there are any concerns or issues with it, I am flexible!!! I went heavier on days we are at sea and didn't bother with the last morning (it will be too crazy and people will have been packed up!).
Just another thought after hearing what Janet said about the casino items for the dads, if we can also find something that is specific to where you're from that isn't too costly, that might be fun too! But, don't kill yourself trying to make it happen! Postcards from local places, small inexpensive things from local teams, colleges, entertainment places or attractions... but only if you have the time and it isn't too costly! And, of course, all things Disney related are fun!

Got home from work today, check the mail and YES! CRUISE DOCUMENTS!!:dance3:

But still no room assignment.

Makes the cruise seem that much closer. Just over a month to go!

Our cruise documents came in today also for Sandi and Evan and Brittani and I. No SR listed on them but we are feeling like we got some paper for our money right now....
OH and luggage tags.. not much longer though. Time will fly by and we will be there before we know it now.
We are leaving Reno on the 12th to drive down and see some family first.
so only one month for us to be ready!!!!
See you all soon.:cloud9:

Glad to log on from work and see that my papers are at the house...(After stopping my feet a little! jk)

Happy to see that it looks like our packages have been mailed. If we don't have room #'s before we check in, I will bring something and write it down for all. I thought about posting it, but some might not have internet at that point! I have a feeling that all of us with the OGT will be on the 2nd deck. That is where most of them are located on the ship layout!

Could someone who has a room assignment post a list on their door so we could add last minute cabin assignments to it and everyone would know to check it? We had that on our last cruise and it worked well - you never know about changes. :confused3

Yep we got our cruise documents today also! :)

Just like USUKmama, sjlnv, and leisjan1 we do not have our cabin assignments yet. I am still thinking in the next week or two they will be posted, It will be nice when they finally are!

Glad you got your stateroom... This is my message still... :-(

Stateroom: Outside Stateroom with Restrictions Category OGT, #GTY

32 days, only 16 days of work left for me... though that sounds like a lot. There is a lot to do in those few days off.

How is everyone packing? Can you really fit all of your stuff into a suitcase or 2? I heard someone packed in ziplock bags, that sounds like it could save a lot of space... just need an iron!

I am aiming to get everything in 2 suitcases but I haven't really organized that yet. I think we used 3 for the Alaska cruise but we needed winter coats and heavier clothing so I think I should be able to manage it in 2.

I have NO idea! Im debating using the Babies Travel Lite service, but we literally live about 11 miles from the port, so I think we can do it all in 4 bags.. I hope.. I certainly dont want to run out of anything for the baby. We'll see! I will start packing on the Wednesday before to have the car loaded by Saturday night after Goofy's kitchen...:thumbsup2
