Wonder in Alaska!!! May 27, 2013

Hi,

I have been researching excursions lately, even though I can not book until March. I am planning on booking a Helicopter and dog sled tour privately. We are going to be doing it in Skagway. I would also like to book the White Pass and street car tour that is offered by Disney. My problem is I do not know the available times of the White Pass being offered, so I do not know what helicopter tour time to pick. Is there a way to find out tour times or can some one that can already book look for me please. TIA

I am eligible to book now so they came right from the dcl website under my account.
This cruise we are booking the railroad round trip. When we did this itinerary with Princess we took the 2:30PM helicopter tour to the dogsled camp. Every excursion in the am was cancelled due to fog so we were told we were lucky to get off the ground. It was the best cruise experience ever.

You report to the meeting place on the ship, theater or lounge, and they check you in, give you your sticker, and then you are escorted off the ship with castmembers. It its a Disney excursion, you are given priority to get off the ship for your excursion. 7AM is your excursion meeting time...

This is the one drawback with a back to back cruise. This will be our first cruise as Platinum Castaway Club members, but as cruise number 10 is the Repo cruise, we still have to make our reservations with the Gold members.

We had a similar issue, our 10th cruise was after the Plantium booking opened. Oh well! We will be cruising, life is good!

We booked:
May 29 Tracy Arm Palo Brunch
May 30 Whitepass Railroad round-trip
May 31 Juneau Mendenhall Glacier & Whale Quest
Palo Brunch is offered 3 days, 2 sea days and Tracy Arm. There were lots
openings when I booked.
DH is 68 and doesn't move very fast, so we are going with convenience this time. When we did this route with Princess we did the helicopter tour to the dog sled camp, best excursion we have ever experienced.
This cruise will be a little more take it easy, but when we get off the ship
we are flying to California so I can go to Disneyland. Living on the east coast we don't get west very often.

Oh absolutely. I can't wait to see the Wonder again. At the moment I am quietly hoping for a nice bonus this year and Interline rates for the September Panama Canal cruise. I so want to go on this.

there are 12 cabins so far participating in the FE.

4 cabins have kids.
boys are age 15,10,4,3 and 20 mos
girls are 19, 15,13
