WLV music?

Just got back from a trip to WLV and noticed that the music that usually played in the walkway to the front door wasn't playing. Anyone have any ideas how long it's been missing and why? Just one of those little things that made the Villas special and cozy...

I'm glad to hear that. It must have been some kind of a fluke. We always enjoy the music and I would hate to see them cut back on it (by maybe not fixing a system).

When we were there in June '04, the same song played the entire week we were there. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but it was driving my DH crazy! He asked someone at the store who said they were about to lose their minds as it had not changed for days. Guess there is some type of snafu with the system.

We were there on 10/23 and the music was not playing. I'm talking about the covered plank walkway from the Lodge to the Villas. They use to play music all the way down the covered walkway, but on our recent stay you didn't hear it until you were right at the front door of the Villas. Sometimes not even until you walked inside...

Boardwalk Gerry: I'm with you! We were there from 10-16 to 10-24 and I didn't hear the music either. and it was were you are speaking of - from the lodge to the villas on the covered walkway. I even mentioned it to my DH, who couldn't remember hearing it ever!!

So, since there has been a clarification, does anyone know what happened to the music?

Wow.. I hope they get it fixed. That music always brought a smile to my face. I LOVED hearing it first thing in the morning... well I loved hearing it ALL the time.

We were at the WLV 10/30 and there was no music playing at all. That's an awful long time for the system to be down...
