WL for December

I want to book the WL for December but I have a few questions. We want to go the first week for maybe 5 days. We are thinking of getting a junior suite or deluxe room or whatever they call it. (bigger than a regular room) Anyway- is it neccessary ot book now and if the AP rates come out can I apply them to my booking? Also- does anyone know what last years' AP rates were for the first week of December? Thanks!

Mousesavers should have the rates listed for last year.

WL is VERY busy in Dec. (great decorations!).

Always better to book (if you have AAA use it) then, flip the room to AP rates when & if they become available.

Does that type room usually get an AP discount? There have been comments posted on rate boards that certain types of rooms aren't showing up @ all resorts.
