If I'm booked in a courtyard view, can I request a view of Bay Lake? Is that considered courtyard? I've love to stay in one of the rooms all the way down at the end of the wings. What a sight it must be looking out on Bay Lake at sunrise/sunset, watching the Electric Water Pageant...ahhhh. Can't wait till our trip!

I booked a woodsview room and requested one of those rooms at the ends of the wings. They are located between the Junior suires and the sliding glass door is offset to one side. There is an extra window that adds more light if you can figure a way to keep the drapes open. Be aware that the rooms facing bay lake on the western wing are behind lots of trees. You can still see the lake through the trees though. The rooms on the east wing facing the lake have less to no trees in front of them.

We were in one of those rooms in May. It was AWESOME. We watched the EWP every night from our balcony and had coffee on the balcony every morning. If we leaned out a little (and we did!) we could see Wishes. We booked woodsview, they upgraded us to courtyard which was very kind but it was facing the villas, so we asked to move to woodsview and that's what they gave us. We could not have handpicked a room we liked more.

We were in 5001 and it was fantastic. Faced the lake and we also were able to see the fireworks!

This past January I requested fourth or fifth floor with a direct frontal view of the lake with the geiser and pool in the foreground. I told them I did not want to be on a side where we would be facing someone else's balcony. I got exactly what I asked for. We looked straight out at the lake and could watch the EWP from our balcony, the pool was just below us and the geiser just below and little to the left. We were in what would be the short straight middle part of an H with the wings to the right and left of us with the main pool in the middle of the H and just below us, if that makes sense. The walk to the elevator wasn't far either. It was a lovely view.

aubriee,

Do you remember your room number?

Thanks!

Anne

We had a woodsview where we overlooked Bay Lake and could see the electrical water pagaent, see the otterpond, see the monorail, see the castle and the fireworks. I can not imagine there being any better view in WL. It was quiet, peaceful and private!!

We were in the north wing overlooking the otterpond and the 5th floor (per request) and at the end of the wing. As a bonus we were super close to the second set of elevators (not the ones in the lobby, but the ones by the laundry room), close to roaring forks & the pool (and by default the dock out to MK boat). It is a prime location, imho.
