Well, I managed to get out and do 4.15 miles tonight with a pace of 11:12. I didn't think it was too bad considering my legs were still a little tight from this past weekend. One more short run and I should be ready for RFTT.
Mel - Go ahead and do two races. I did that last year and had a blast. I would do it again this year but for some reason DS needs someone to look after him and paying babysitters/IL's to go to Disney gets a tad expensive. Especially after going to California.
Jodi - If you feel your training has gone far enough to get you to a full marathon distance, then go for it. However, if you haven't trained to go that far yet, you could get injured if you push your body too much. The last 13 miles seem to be the hardest and somewhere after 20 miles your body could be decide to rebel.
Heather - Great job raising the money. I am probably the worlds worst fundraiser so I am impressed by anyone who can get out and do that. That is one reason I don't do Team in Training.
Judy - Glad to hear you did well in your race. Although I think I like your celebration shopping spree more. It is always great to be recognized as a runner.
Matt - You should have no problem setting PR's this weekend. If you get towards the front of the races, you could be carried for the first part if you plan it right.
Sunny - Glad to hear you have the tickets. Just take it one training run at a time and don't worry too much about it. I have times as well where I wonder if I really want to do this or not.
For those whose Garmin has been acting up, I haven't had any problems with mine recently. I think today was about .04 miles off from normal but I usually attribute that to deviations in my path and the slight tree cover I go under at times. It is possible for the GPS satellites to read off at times. They usually fix themselves over time though. If it keeps acting up, you could reset the Garmin and see if that helps any.
