Oh Matt..I see a PR in your future! You like to push yourself and this is what you are doing now!thndrmatt said:I can't even remember the last time I went over 20 in a week! Maybe high school? Which probably means PRs in both races isn't likely, but that won't stop me from trying.![]()
Judy - WTG on the race! I am so proud of how far you have come!
Any excuse for talking about training is allowed for me! I even show off my knees that are healing to show what an athelete I am! More like idot!

- Can I tell you something funny? When I did my 1st WDW marathon, I passed a girl at mile 7ish that was speed walking...Ron looked at me and said, "you realize that it took us 7 something miles to catch up with her"? That girl was booking......and I know by that time, you will run too! We won't be ablee to catch you.
Ran 6 this morning with sis and JRT! We ran on some trails. I am trying to taper, but really don't want to so there won't be much training this week.
I am so sorry. I hope things get better soon.
I am in full marathon training mode now. I took it easy the week after the DL 1/2, but I returned to my marathon training last week. I did the Race for the Cure on Saturday. I raised $1100, and there were over 20,000 participants in the race. Saw Dracula at the Houston Ballet on Saturday night, which was fantastic. I got in my 45 minutes of walking/running this morning at the gym. My garmin has been acting crazy for 2 months now. Do you think there is a timer in them that causes them to go crazy after a certain period of time so we all have to buy a new one? Maybe the Garmin satellites just need to be adjusted.
that the recovery continues.
If you could be inside my head right now.........

I just have to get my head on right
But seriously, we really need to cut back on Disney trips and see other places in this world! And what a good reason to go to Niagara Falls. With Chad soon exploring, umm, shall we say, new professions - we will need to cut back on Disney and do some cheaper things now.
I thought someone else here was looking into running a half in October too?
Tonight is my night off but back to work tomorrow night for me.

I've decided...I'm going to hold my feet to the fire and get out and run tomorrow. Handsdown no excuses. I'm in the Air Force for goodness sakes, this is unacceptable. I'll check in tomorrow and let you guys know what I did
- - so I'm sticking to the Half Marathon (the wiser choice anyhow).
