Good morning TEAM!! I finally have a minute to get on here, I have A LOT to catch up on.
Kristi--I've thought about getting The Stick for Stephen and I too. I've heard good things about it. If you haven't bought it yet, check
www.runningwarehouse.com--where Mel got us the discount, I know I saw them there.
Carrie--

for your booty!!! I'm so glad it wasn't something more serious.
Judy--I like the way Charlie thinks!!! You are a lucky girl.

: Awesome job on the 8 miler, I know what you mean about just HAVING to get out. It was so cold on Saturday, but I knew if I did my 10 miler on the TM I would be miserable the entire time. By the way, I'd pay money to see you running in bunny rabbit ears!!
Jimmduck--
WELCOME!!!!!!!
Dave and Andrew--I did my 10 miler run and my 5 miler run WITHOUT the inserts. My ankle was a little sore after the 10 on Saturday, because my ankle does roll out quite a bit, so it's absorbing all the shock. I guess I need to go see a podiatrist some day and get custom orthodics, but right now I feel like why mess with something that really isn't causing major problems. I'm lifting weights, so my quads, hamstrings, and glutes are getting stronger, which will help with any future IT band problems. My ankle rolling while I run is completely my gait and a genetic thing as my Mom has the same problem.
Vic--WOW!! That xt looks impressive! You are going to be like the Incredible Hulk pretty soon.

I keep telling myself I need to be more disciplined with my toning, bathing suit season is right around the corner. I just got a resistance band, now I need to figure out what to do with it.
Terri--Congrats on getting into the Nike Women's Marathon.

That's on my list. By the way, did you see last week when I posted that I saw you on the WDW Marathon Race Re-Cap DVD? It was during the full marathon section when they showed the starting line.
TXAng--Congrats on the run!!!

Those are a lot of firsts!! That is awesome.
Jen--Do you have a new assistant yet? How frustrating!!! I'd like to work 6-2 also, that would be awesome!!
Erin--Good to see you again!! Don't be such a stranger!
Cam--That route sounds lovely! I do all my runs in our neighborhood and while I can get a 4 mile loop out of the roads, I'm starting to get bored. By the way, I have been cooking up a storm thanks to all the tips I got on here. By making a list of what we are going to eat a week in advance and going to the grocery store and getting everything that I need that week, I know I always have something on hand and can never use the excuse "I don't know what to make" again! Even when I don't feel like making what we were supposed to have that night, I have the ingredients on hand to make something else. Last night we had pot roast with sweet potatoes. It was GOOD!!
Susie--I put Body Glide on my feet for long runs, just as a precaution. I've tried deodorant too, but Body Glide works better. I hope your feet heal themselves quickly!!
Martha--Awesome run on Sunday!! How is Lesley feeling?
Leana--How bad is Sanjaya going to be tonight?
Bekkiz--
WELCOME!!!!!
Mel--Great job on sticking with the run! I agree, once you have your base, running in 90% mental.

with your daughter!
Stephanie--I am so jealous!! How dark is your tan?
Melissa--How many bikes have you sold this week?
Kathy--
Christa--We needs pics of the new bike shorts!!!! Did you ground your daughters for saying the shorts make your butt look big? The next time they say that, just start singing "I like big butts and I cannot lie" while shaking your booty.
I know I missed people, but this is taking me FOREVER to post. I think I started this hours ago. Tonight is xt, I think I'm going to bike for 20 or 30 minutes (depending on traffic and how quickly I can get to the Community Center) and then lift weights.
