Hi, everyone! I am so sorry I have been MIA. I have been working all sorts of crazy hours at all times of the day and night (ask DH about me wandering in to sleep a couple of hours at 3 a.m.) It has been 2 weeks of H-E-double hockey sticks, but I am finally through the storm and now just trying to catch up.
Thank you to all my WISH buddies who kept me "company" and "entertained" at various hours of the night over the past 2 weekends!
Hoping to catch up on all the WISH posts, but here's what I remember right now:
Bill & Lynnda and Billy -- THinking of you guys and hoping all went very smoothly today. Can't wait to "meet" our new little WISHer.
Sunny -- I have been thinking about you so much. Sending you a

Christa -- that picture is adorable!!
Judy -- You made me cry! I am so glad I helped you find your way to my "happy place" -- among the WISH team members. But you have to pat yourself on the back, sweetie! Remember that no one but you could have stuck it out, stuck to the training and come as far as you have. No matter how much you might have liked being here, if you weren't willing to work hard and put in the steps, you could not have achieved all that you have. I am so happy to call you my friend and my teammate. I am so proud of you!
Craig -- as always, your post struck a chord in my heart and my soul. I remember so well 2 years ago, thinking there was no way I could achieve what I'd set out to do -- the 1/2 marathon. You and many others here encouraged me to keep working toward that goal, and you made the whole experience so edifying and enjoyable. I cannot stress enough to our new teammates how important the journey is. And there are so many who have helped me on this journey over the past 2+ years, but somehow, my friend, yours are the words that I so often call to mind in the difficult moments. I thank you for being a voice of wisdom and encouragement. You are one special man and we are all better for knowing you.
Ooohhh, I am so impressed with all this amazing training and the awesome race performances. I am really looking forward to getting back into a regular training program. So much seems to have gotten away from me over the past 2 weeks, including my diet
and my ability to keep up with the posts here
and my DS13 who somehow managed to grow taller than me while I was otherwise distracted!!! YOWZA!!!!!!
