Hi all! I've been totally LTO'd!
I've skimmed through up to page 13 of last week adn want ot post a couplethings before I forget. It may take me all week to catch up with this week.
Martha - Do not compare your pace to Craig's. As much as I believe that girls can do anythign boys can do, there is a defference.

You are not slow. (OK, that's kind of self serving.

)
Dave - Yup, took me 16 years to get back in those ASICs. A coach can do such wonderfu things to the mind.
Craig - Thanks for the kind words. I struggle even more because I am inherently lazy. So, I'm torn btwn comparing myself to the freshman letter winner and just being proud that I'm getting of the couch. Talk about an identity crisis! lol. I was 115 pounds then, same height. Yeah, my shape may have changed a bit.
Krista - COngrats on the cavity-free checkup!!!! I've had some major issues adn tend to shout it from the mountain top if I can go 6 months btwn visits.
SIleverSteve - I am so sorry about the doc's report. Ia lways wonder how long my body will take the long distances. I second Mel's advice to think about ebcomign a walker. It's so much easier on teh body.
OK, skipped the 8-miler, as my sub 10:30 50 minutes on Thursday may have been a bit much. I did get new shoes Sunday adn I hope those will help. SItting down? I ended up with Mizuno Nirvanas. :O We'll see if there's life beyond ASICs.
For all those who call tehmselves slow, look around you. How many of your friends and co-workers work out regularly? Pat yourself on the back! Congrats fro making that change. Please ignore those of us who still try to re-live our glory days.
Hope to be back soon. So glad so many are enjoying the shirts. Just don't stare at themtoo long and burn your retinas.
