wishing for the "peter pan pin"

Hmmmm, looks like folks are getting some "peter pan pin codes" -- that just may be good for June 2011. DS is in school until 6/16/11 & we're hoping to go right after school finishes. Holding off on booking anything until I see if I can get any good deals.

I have gotten (useless) pins in the past but not ususally via email, usually we get a postcard via snailmail. Guess I'll go play around on disneyworld.com, saving potential trips & see if we get anything.

Just letting it be known to the mythical forces that send pins, this might be agood one for me........ Hoping, hoping, hoping......

I am betting they have all been sent. Apparently this round has to be booked by the 10th...so maybe not long after that we will see something else come around.

It can be frustrating, yes. Who knows the rhyme or reason of the PIN codes? I was all set to wait until the spring for my PIN codes, but it arrived now. I dunno

I have 2 trips booked (one in Nov, just for me) and a family one in July. I have been wishing for some Disney magic and hoping to see a pin code, but no luck!!! This is going to be our 8th visit as a family....I just don't understand how/why some people get them and others don't. I have done everything folks mention on here, but never have any luck

On 10/04/2010 I received the Peter Pan Pin email. Interestingly, DH and I have been to WDW 9 times and really never got email pins.

In September 2009 my grown son and I took a 10 day 'mother/son' trip staying at POP w/FD. I did all the planning from my office using that email, but the reservation was in his name since we were celebrating his 1st visit and his BD.

Ever since that trip I have been receiving all kinds of email offers from Disney Destinations in HIS name. So, go figure? Maybe they figure DH and I are already hooked and they are trying to spread the addiction to my son?

Here is the information from that email of 10/04/10 (note the excluded resorts):
