We finally got a BOG dinner reservation, but it conflicts with our 1 night to see wishes. Is there somewhere very close to the restaurant we can see it and how long does it last?

Also, has anyone gotten there earlier for their reservation and been seated earlier then their reservation time?

Thank you!

Right outside.
(At the far end of the "bridge" that leads to BOG.)
You'll be between the two fireworks "sources," so you'll have to turn your head back-and-forth to see the show.
Wishes runs about 14 min.

No matter where you are in Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, or Frontierland/Liberty Square, you'll still be between the two fireworks "sources."

BOG won't check you in early. So if you want to eat earlier, keep trying for an earlier ADR.

Watching Wishes from in front of BOG means:
- missing the castle projections
- being behind the castle so a back view of any fireworks going off at castle area
- biggest are shot behind BOG so you would have to do the spin to see them all
- you will not get the full effect of the show at all or with the castle
- for full effect you must be in front of the castle
- BOG will not check in nor seat you early
- for full view you will need to pick one or the other
- as PP said keep trying for a different time for your ADR

For what it's worth, I've heard many people really enjoy watching Wishes from Fantasyland (my mom did in June while we were riding IASW but this was the third night she had seen it on the trip). However, if you haven't ever seen it or it's been awhile, you may want to rethink your schedule to watch from in front of the castle.

I watch it from back there most of the time ........ because I've seen it a zillion times and have no need to see it head on. It's very loud and booming there (even some fallout) because you are close to the rear launch. Nice to not be crowded. Lots of folks get engaged during it back there :love2: so sometimes extra entertainment. But it is lots of spinning to see, not at all getting the Wishes effect - just fireworks show - and there is lots of other sounds over the music, like the folks screaming on mine train.

REALLY depends on what experience you want.

For me as hard as be our guest ressies are to get I would definitely keep trying to adjust the reservation time. You'll definitely be in between the two fireworks sources no matter what you do in fantasy land.

You're not going to be anywhere near having an ideal viewing area for Wishes as you won't be in front of the castle. But the area you'll be in won't be bad. I'd just watch from right over by BoG. Like others have said you'll have to turn your heads constaintly to catch all the fireworks though
