The “I did it” will be weird for people who are swept and receive a medal still.

Is the "I did it" on all the medals, or just the challenge medal? I don't think you get the challenge medal if you get swept. The “I did it” will be weird for people who are swept and receive a medal still.
I'm not 100% sure about the 5k/Coco medal, but it's on the back of the spinner for the half (soul) and on the inside of the raya (10k) medal as well.Is the "I did it" on all the medals, or just the challenge medal? I don't think you get the challenge medal if you get swept.
It's on the 10k and half medals too. Not sure about 5k as they only show the front. Is the "I did it" on all the medals, or just the challenge medal? I don't think you get the challenge medal if you get swept.
As someone who has received a medal from Disney while being swept, I can agree. I know one person who was on the bus with me said she would "earn it" by completing the miles virtually... but my mile is currently sitting on my floor. I tried to sell it but it fell through.Receiving any medal when being swept is weird. It is a medal for finishing a race, not starting it.
I have this conspiracy theory, too... the "I Did It" is a way to justify them not giving out medals. Given all of the people who had problems with their medal quality and requested replacements, I wonder if Disney is thinking about having extra medals for that purpose.Maybe they're not going to give medals to those that are swept this year (as a "cost saving" measure.) Cue the torches and pitchforks.
I've used them to buy a ticket for my daughter last spring. No issues. They are endorsed by some of the fairly well known blog sites.I usually get tickets from UCT but I saw a post elsewhere about Boardwalk Ticketing. Looked it up and could save like $100 for all of us. Sounds too good to be true. Anyone used them and can confirm they're as legit as UCT?
I'm not a fan of the branding either, and it seems weird to buy running merch with the slogan before you run the races.Where do people collect their medals if they are swept?
I also don't care for the "I did it!" lingo on runDis merch/medals. It seems very plain and uncreative for Disney. I much prefer the "Every Mile is Magic" wording on runDis stuff!
EDIT: as for medals, I would guess they get them at the finish with everyone else. Bus takes them there and they walk through the section where you get the medal and snacks.
I agree and am still not over rD getting rid of the Chef Mickey theme for the weekend. It was probably getting "stale" for some but after four W&D weekends I still enjoyed it.Add me to the 'not all that excited about the medals' group. To be honest I'm not all that thrilled about the themes in general. For it being Wine and Dine weekend it doesn't seem as such.

Honestly, if I wasn't perfect for the challenge and thinking I want to keep that I would have skipped this weekend. The theme isn't great and I wish the is weekend would get a better theme like the marathon has last year and this coming year. I mean, it is the race closest to the "birthday" of WDW after all...I'm sure they will look great in person but I've never been a fan of the theme. The only movie that is represented that I've even seen is Aladdin. I don't really let the theme or medals make or break my weekend but if I did I would have skipped this year.
I liked the Chef theme as well. We had fun making character themed chef costumes and I loved the patriotic year in 2019!I agree and am still not over rD getting rid of the Chef Mickey theme for the weekend. It was probably getting "stale" for some but after four W&D weekends I still enjoyed it.
