Just finally booked my tickets! I guess I was hoping I was going to get a ticket number in email to link up to MDE, but I guess I need to wait for the physical ticket in the mail.

Where did you book through? If it was direct and you were logged on the tickets would just show up in your MDE account with no need to link yourself.

I bought sport tickets through the discounted runDisney site, so they will need to be linked up.

Hm I didn't need to link up mine but of course I bought them on the phone not the website. She just asked what email address was associated with my MDE and next thing I knew they were on my account.

I bought my husband's ticket through the site but was able to link it up with the confirmation in the email.

I started running because my husband was a runner and really wanted me to do a race with him. 3 1/2 years later and still going strong. It's a great bonding time for the two of us and he's the best running partner you could ever want. There are a lot more reasons why I run now (health, fitness, weight control, mental and spiritual boost), but that time with my husband is pretty awesome still.

I tried putting in the confirmation from the email but it says:

"This reservation is already linked or cannot be claimed online by the confirmation number. If you have the individual ticket(s), please link to your account using the ticket ID."

I guess because at the top it says "Enter your Will Call Confirmation Number or Ticket ID" and I didn't select "Will Call" for the delivery.

Try calling back. They can give you the number over the phone or you can call tech support and have them help.

Oh speaking of tickets guys. I realized you can link any finish line party tickets and book Epcot FP+ for the 7th with them. It worked out perfect for our group because the boys (and by boys I mean 2 late 20 somethings haha) will get to ride Test Track and Mission Space then can see the fireworks and head over to Soarin after. We were worried they wouldn't make it to both TT and Soarin before it got crowded with runners but now we are confident they will be able to do everything.

Too bad I'm a slow poke and unless I get back on track will miss all but the last hour of the party.

The ME stuff comes in a separate envelope. We got ours a week or two ago. Magic Bands got here yesterday.

I am starting to get nervous about this...I received my MBs, but still have not received DME tags or the W&D gift card. What the heck guys! I think I will give it one more week and then start making some calls...

I just picked up my held mail at the post office to find some mickey mail. Looks like this time the vouchers include free entry into disneyquest. I don't think I have received that offer in a long time. I think maybe 5+ years ago I received one for a regular, non rundisney package. I guess I should walk through there at least before they close it down...

We got the free DisneyQuest vouchers and free rounds of miniature golf vouchers. With DisneyQuest they are trying desperately to get people down to the west end of DTD errr sorry Disney Springs. (sidenote: The acronyms are getting too close together with Disney Studios and Disney Springs). Besides HOB and LaNumba there really isn't anything else going on down there.

Has anyone run in HerUniverse stuff before? I saw they have a Sabine tunic and was thinking about getting one for a costume of sorts. They also have a rocket raccoon tank as well. I would most likely have these over a long sleeve running shirt if it was too cold that night or have a running hoodie over them that i would take off and tie to my race belt if I got warm. I've been wanting to do a Sabine costume for a while since I got into Star Wars Rebels.

I don't think anyone has gotten the gift cards yet, but I would call about the DME.

Yes and I've never had an issue. Usually you keep the first set and now you can deny the second. The only issue would be if you have your DME tags and don't get thew new ones. IF that happens just use a sharpie to cross out the original hotel and switch it to the new hotel.

It's only for one night, so we don't have to worry about DME or anything. Just saw the passholder rate for AKL and it's less than $100 more than what I paid for POP. Of course, it's not an official race hotel which means we (I mean, my friend!) would have to drive after the party ... kind of defeating the purpose of the hotel.

Just take a cab! You can take the AKL bus over to Epcot for the party and I believe you can even catch buses to WWOS from Epcot (I did last year) then after the party just get a cab back to AKL. I would totally chose AKL for 100 more.

That's what I'm thinking! I think my husband would enjoy "downtime" before the race at AKL more than at POP, especially because of the overall theming. He really liked just wandering around the Grand Californian when we had dinner at Napa Rose, so hopefully I can make the switch.

I could also do Wilderness Lodge for a little bit more, but it's one of those bunkbed rooms and we really don't need that.

We started running because of Max, the little critter staring at you just to the left. At age 4, and after almost 140 professional races, he retired and we adopted him. He's usually very content to just walk slowly and sniff on our walks, but sometimes, he wants to trot. DW and I wanted to be able to comfortably trot along with him. He is very considerate of our lack of speed.
Then DW told me that she wanted to do the local 5k Turkey Trot, on 3 weeks notice. The hug and feelings we had at the finish area were among the most special things we have ever shared. Why/how anybody can do more than 5k was baffling to me for a couple of years, and then I made it a goal to run a race longer than a 5k. Did that in August 2013. I look forward to the finish area sometime shortly after 0100 on 11/8.

Waiting to hear back from our TA about DME tags. Will post as we learn anything.
