Wild Africa Trek in 2015?

I would like to book this tour for my husband and myself in January. However, when I go to the Disney website to look at the tour times there are no tour times for any dates in 2015. Do you think this tour is going to be discontinued or am I looking too soon?

I'm not sure they even put times for this tour on the website since you have to call 407-WDW-PLAY to book and pay. I think it's too far out regardless.

Did you happen to find out if this tour is going on in Jan. 2015? Going for marathon weekend and wanted to do maybe do this with a friend. Seems more involved with seeing the animals then the Backstage Safari going by the description. Thanks.

We have it booked for January 22nd so it is still operating in 2015. This will be my second time to do this tour.

I believe when I booked this I had to do it over the phone. And actually they CM I spoke with informed me that they didn't officially open the slots yet, but she was adding me ... somehow.

Anyway, I booked in the fall of 2013 for May 2014 (it was a Christmas present for DW)

Have to say ... IT WAS AWESOME !!!! Just .... phenomenal !!! A truly once in a lifetime experience for ... not really much money (admittedly in addition to an already expensive WDW trip).

We have rescheduled our trip from January to February, so I haven't booked this yet. I am going to wait until I schedule 7DMT so that I know what day/time I should plan this. Has anyone ever had trouble booking it less than 60 days out?

You need to call them. We were looking at booking in February and we had to call to confirm dates/times. According to a phone CM (whom I never fully trust to have accurate information) the 2015 times would be confirmed mid December

I just booked it for May 2015, the times were the same as those listed on the website. If you are a dvc member you can get a discount on the times later in the day, my wife wanted to go early so no discount for us.

I'm on the website right now and see no dates/times listed beyond 12/31/2014 I would call (407) WDW-TOUR or (407) 939-8687 since you have to do that to book anyway.

First off, the wild africa trek is an amazing tour and I think you would really really REALLY enjoy it. You might have a better chance booking it closer to your date, if not at the park. We went on a family trip this past September and my cousin inquired on the Wild Africa Trek for us over the phone and in person. The cast members were so so SO so nice to give us a BOGO deal on tour. I don't know if they were in a good mood that day or wanted to make our trip even more special than it already was but man, that was such a big surprise. And of course we hopped on the opportunity. So I'm a total supporter of waiting until you get there because you never know what kind of "deal" you'll get.
