Wierd PO/FQ?

I absolutely have to have one of these! It sounds perfect for me. No more snoring sounds but wonderful ocean waves. Where do you purchase them? Thanks so much Colleen!

Regarding the white noise machines, I got one at Hill's (a dumpy department store) and one at Service Merchandise, both of which are now out-of-business where I live. Some nice department stores (Lazarus by us) carry them, and perhaps Kohl's would have one in the small appliance section. Sometimes they are near the electric blankets and sometimes they are by the "spa" type stuff. Perhaps Bed, Bath & Beyond would have one. Sharper Image used to carry one for WAY too much money. I will see if Norelco has a web site and get back to you...

Sound machine info: the ones I have are made by Norelco and Philips electronics. They are the same thing with a different label. Neither of these websites offered this item.
SharperImage.com has #SI502 Travel Soother for $39.95
SharperImage.com also has #SI429 Sound Soother with timer for $139.95 (!)
ImprovementsCatalog.com has #191952 Travel Sound Machine and Alarm on clearance for $5.99
Brookstone.com has #212720 for $80

The closest thing to the one I have is the expensive one at Sharper Image, but the tiny alarm-travel types look fine too. No major technology here, just sound and a small speaker. Hope this helps!:o

I bought my first one at radio shack but we have one that we bought at Walmart. It is a Timex alarm clock that has white noise ( ocean, brook, forest, and wind) The cost is about $35 dollars but well worth it.

My husband is a loud snorer but, because I was raised in a home with a father that snored loud enough to shake the house, my husband's snoring doesn't bother me. The problem I have is that he has periodic limb movement (often called restless leg syndrome.) He even went to a sleep disorder clinic and they said he jerked his arms and legs every 20 seconds all night. His sleep patterns were not effected at all by it but it sure disrupts my sleeping.

Thank you very much Colleen and Bev. I will definitely be on the lookout for one of those sound machines. As a matter of fact I am heading to Walmart tomorrow for some flavored bottled water so I'll check to see if I can find it. Then it's off to the mall. DH adores Sharper Image so I know I won't get any argument if I say I need to check on something there. {as long as I don't mention what I want it for LoL} Thanks again guys!
