This is probably a very uninformed question, but what is the advantage of getting tickets from Ticketmania? Are the prices better, and if so by how much? I will be purchasing two eight day tickets with PH option. Where's the best place to get them? Or should I just order them online from Disney?

Ticketmania does often beat the Disney prices and they have excellent customer service too. The best prices for Disney tickets from Ticketmania require you sign up for the newsletter at www.mousesavers.com they send out a newsletter ever month with a secret link to ticketmania and special prices.

I have been able to get these lower prices by emailing ticketmania and asking for the mouse savers discount.

BE aware that if you want any package add ons to a WDW resort stay you must buy your tickets from Disney, otherwise Ticketmania is a great source.

I priced the 8 day tickets for you through ticketmania from the link from the mousesavers newsletter and for two adult tickets they will run you $450 for both, they will cost you $452 through WDW website. These prices are before tax.
For me I would pay the 2 dollars extra and buy them from Disney.

I wouldn't buy actual admission tickets from them, but they have fantastic prices on Pleasure Island and Disney Quest admission. That's what I use them for, at least.

Ticketmania has free shipping. Disney doesn't. Sometimes when pricing, they look to be very close, then I would add in the shipping from Disney and it wouldn't be so close anymore.

ticketmania includes tax and delivery, so there's your savings. I've purchased from Maple Leaf tickets before, too, and they were great. Planning to use ticketmania for our Dec tix as soon as DH gets paid!

The Ticketmania price includes tax and shipping, the Disney price is before tax and shipping (you can use will call for free but there is still tax).

Using the link from the mousesavers newsletter I bought 3 adult and 1 child 8 day MYW tickets with hopping at a savings of $44 over the advance purchase prices on the Disney website.

Ticket brokers could offer much better deals in the days before MYW tickets. I think Disney is trying to put all of these places out of business. The tickets are almost the same price, and Disney has made it so you can add a day for something like $3.00. :confused3

Disney undercut the taxis and towncars (I mean how much more of a discount can you do than free?)

They've eliminated the codes, and made the discounts that you can get direct from Disney very attractive, eliminating the need for travel agents.

The dining packages are very attractive (especially when you discount them to ... say it with me... free :cheer2: )Yes, I am one who gave up my AP discount to pay rack rate to get the dining package.

Okay, back OT, I used Ticketmania last year, before the MYW tickets. I would still use them for PI or DQ tickets. Their service was excellent.

But I would buy my MYW tickets from Disney and have them added to my reservation.

I just went to www.tickemania.com and noticed the 7 day hopper with expiry is more expensive than the 8 day?? Huh? Am I reading this right? 7 day hopper with expiry = $234 and 8 day hopper with expiry = $233...

I got 10-day, non-expiring, park hoppers with magic plus pack for me and dd3 and saved about $80 using TicketMania. My parents, however, would have barely saved anything on their 3-day park hoppers, so just used Disney. I would just do a price compare. I got my tickets very quickly from Ticket Mania.

I'm not so sure I agree with this. Ticketmania, MapleLeafTickets, etc are authorized ticket resellers. If Disney wanted to put them out of business, all they'd have to do is stop selling these companies tickets in bulk to be resold to the public!

What? That's more than an annual pass...are you sure? I just bought 10 day non expiring with Magic Plus for $346 from ticketmania. With park hopping it would have only been $33 more per ticket (including tax and shipping). Way less than Disney's price quote.

I believe the quote of $450 is for BOTH (2 adult) tix. Thru the mousesaver link they are $225 a piece...

The 10 day non expiring with Magic plus are $336 thru that same link.
