Why is it so hard to pick the right paint color?!?

Our living and dining rooms are light green on the blue side of the scale, and we get lots of compliments. I paired it with brown couches in the living room, and it looks pretty good if I do say so myself.

Would you mind sharing photos or at least the color/brand of the light green?

TIA!

Question for all you painters....did I dream this or can you buy a certain type of paint that already has the primer in it so you don't have to do that seperate? DD wants her room painted, right now its a dark sky blue color and need to know if I need to prime it first or if I can paint over it.

We did our open concept living, dining, and family room in Behr Toasted Wheat and I love it.
In the past I have had a hard time with paint colours, as one beige I picked out came out as almost a purple on the walls.
This one was perfect.
I was so pleased with the result.

Benjamin Moore's website allows you to virtually paint your room. If you want to get really complicated, you can load your own pictures on their site, but the easy thing is to just pick a room that sort of looks like what you want to paint, and then you can experiment. This has worked very well for me, and I haven't had to paint small squares around my room trying to figure out what paint looks best. I've been using this for years, and I have never been surprised or disappointed with the end result.
