Wow--2 year old peer pressure!2:
My paci story - DD2 would never take a paci. Then she realized that the other toddlers at daycare had a paci and she decided she wanted one at almost 2 years old. She takes the medicine dropper from the infants tylenol and mothrin bottles and sucks on them, calling them her paci.![]()
My MIL laughs and tells us we are white trash b/c we make our daughter use a medicine dropper for her paci.
And I never have got to go on the Ellen thing--I drug (dragged?--drugs would have been more effective...) everyone over there last trip and we waited 20 minutes only for someone to tell us that some kid had to go to the bathroom and the ride had to be shut down for an hour. DH interpreted that as a sign that we never had to see the thing...

for handling the rude mom. We had an instance when my DS5(he has cerebral Palsy) was walking in a CiCi's Pizza and fell into a lady I immediatly was apologizing and he was trying to say excuse me and she was lambasting him on how he should look where he was going and she was right beside him and blah..blah...blah. Then the manager who knows us (just from visiting so often
)came to check on Braeton and when the lady saw his braces then she was being overly sweet. I mean even if he didn't have CP He immediatly apologized and was saying excuse me. He barely weighs 30lbs. Trust me he wasn't hurting this individual! Of course I was so mad I just had to oopen my BIG mouth and say in an apologetic but kinda mad

Seriously though, she was sweet as can be! Then, as we were chatting another woman came up and asked just a tad reluctantly, “Is this the DIS meet?” I said yes but I didn’t recognize her. It was Kate (kate2961). Kate had signed up for the DIS meet when I posted it on the Meets Board. So, it was so nice to meet another DISer to chat with. Next up was Kari (karibritt01) and then Jackie (sunlvr). We all chatted quite a bit and took some pics. Looks like I was the only one looking at my camera. From left to right: Me, Kate, Cathy, Jackie, Kari.
