Great installment-- can't wait to hear if you got your photo done. I love those "Where . . . whatever" slogans. We'll have to stop & do that in September. Not to be tacky, but do you remember the cost?

Also, can you tell me how you edit the title of your thread? I can't figure it out for my Pre-Trip report.

Thanks!

We skipped Figment this year - Dana was not impressed last year.

That's where DH, MIL, FIL and I got our Dream Fast Passes this past April :goodvibes

Anyways, that kid sure did look like little Brookie :goodvibes (and she's one cute kid

Sorry to hear about that crazy mother...some people just don;t get it :confused3 I an anxiously awaiting to hear about the NORWAY DIS MEET!! Wish I was there!! :dance3:

Sure looks like Brookie to ME! :goodvibes (better check to make sure there aren't any "hidden cameras" in your house! :lmao: )

We never seem to have time to do any of those "fun" things in Innovations... NEXT TIME.... (we did try to email one year, and it didn't work either, so it's not just you!)

PS: anxiously waiting to hear about the NORWAY DIS MEET that I had to miss.:sad1: :sad1: (dang those inlaws.... )

We've been on Figment before and knew what to expect but it was nice for the kids. I think it would be nice to have something new there. Yes, you missed the DIS meet but at least you can blame it on someone...

I PM'd you. I know the cost for the poster in the Imagination pavillion was about $30 but I can't remember the other picture packages. There were so many to choose from.

oh wow i love your trip report, the fillets look good, i want one now!
Thank you. Yes, those filets were great! And there are more meat eaters pics coming up some time...

Ah! And I didn't get a dream FP? Of course, being near 7 pm I didn't expect it then anyway. I'm working on the next update!

Nice update DM. We also encountered no lines at Figment.

That mother sure does sound annoying. :headache:

We also had our picture taken several times to send in e-mails. Only one of them was ever received:confused3

That little girl in the picture sure does look a lot like Brooke!

Are you going to the VT/LSU game?? I would love to--but the tix are $350 EACH...
(actually all the Tech games this year are ridiculous, but I live so close now that I think I'll just drive to the game and grab some from the people holding them up...)

Hey!

Yeah, we're going--- we have season tickets to all of our home games. I'm really excited, but I'm still so sad for VT.

OK you win it was better than my suitcase update :rotfl2:

I loved Figment as a child but was so disappointed last trip, wish they'd change it back! That photo is freaky because it does look just like Brooke

I LOVE figment!!!! It's so cheesy, but I just love it for some reason.

And YES, I totally thought that was Brooke... DM- That's so weird! That's her long lost twin!

Wow that picture really looked like Brookie, how strange is that??

And FYI, DF and I also emailed our silly pictures from the Imagination pavilion and we ended up receiving them about 2 and half weeks after we returned home! Be sure they werent sent to your Spam box too. Dont lose hope, they are just really slow at delivering those pictures! You think they would get faster service, i mean it is Disney after all. :confused3

I am sorry I havent posted in a while but I am still reading, I promise!!! :goodvibes

Hi! :wave2: Enjoying your trip report very much! You have a beautiful family and I love all the videos you inserted. Brookie looks just like that little girl in the picture! You know they say everyone has a twin....

DM we didnt make it to the inside of the pavillions  so it was so nice to see whats inside. Love the cute videos! Thanks for updating so much...its great! Eventually we will even make it to the Dis meet!!!! :thumbsup2

OT:
You know what I do when I run into people like that. I tell the kids that the adult is being very selfish and see how it hurts other people's feelings and aren't you glad you are not her kids...see how they are being pushed around and rushed...etc etc.

Today I was putting the kids in the car and some trashy lady goes to get in her car next to me. When she opens her door she starts cussing loudly ( Holy #@%&...) about how hot it is and is yelling at the other girl with her and then pulls out her cigarettes. My eyes met DD9 and we rolled our eyes :sad2: at the same time and laughed...I mentioned something about low class. So even though my child heard curse words she was able to see that it was low class and innappropriate. I didnt even need to say anything more about it.

Thanks for the update. :goodvibes I think you handled the "mean mom" right-better to ignore it and just get out of her way. She definitely sounds like one of those parents who keeps their kids rushing from one thing to another and never really has time to just enjoy everything. My DD7 loves jumping on those sound squares, and waving her arms to make music. Last year I think we spent at least 20-30 mins. in there with her having a great time. Even my DM and I got into it! We also take our time doing water play and (even though it's not on my favs) letting her spend time in Innoventions. (Don't get me wrong, some parts of Innoventions are really cool, but I can only take so much of playing the video games)

Keep 'em coming! :cool1:

Just found your TR today! It's a fun read! You have a lovely family! Can't wait for more!

I'm guessing the lines in Figment are never ever a worry. That pic of the Brookie look-a-like made me want to buy that one!

You love cheesy Figment? That sounds about right, Courtney! ;) See? Even you thought it was Brooke and you met her in person!

I checked my spam here this week but I think Yahoo gets rid of them too fast. I never asked my dad to check his spam and that may have happened as I sent his to his aol address. I think your update was more important than you posting here..:goodvibes But just check in from time to time so I know for sure you're still here.

Thank you so much!!! :goodvibes I'll be putting more videos in future updates. All my videos are from my camera so I made them all very short. Just enough for me to remember special times. And Brookie's "twin"...I was just saying to my husband that I wonder how old that picture is and what that little girl looks like now....:confused3

Too busy being commando? We didn't do all the pavillions either but we did have fun in what we saw. When do you think you'll get your DIS meet update posted?

Reminds me a bit of my little story. Last week I was bringing the boys back and forth to swimming lessons that were at the local high school. At the same time were a bunch of different kinds of sports camps going on. One of them had a bunch of football teenagers sitting in the hall on both sides with their legs outstretched. You couldn't even walk but I laughed and said, "Part the seas..." And all but 1 kid lifted their legs up so we could walk. The last kid I "accidentally" kicked in the leg. Oops!

Thank you. Disney World gave me more restraint than when I am home. I tried very hard to be the calm one during some trying times even though it was very hard. I consider Disney "my vacation" so I want to make sure everyone is happy and there are no negative feelings after our trip.

Thanks for reading still!!!

Just found your TR today! It's a fun read! You have a lovely family! Can't wait for more!
I'm glad you found my TR and thanks for reading. It gets more exciting for me the more people that read and I appreciate all the nice comments. (smiling really wide right now)

Great chapter! One of the things I want to do is take our picture at the imagination pavillion so I can't wait to see if you ended up doing it and how it turned out!

That child does bear a striking resemblance to Brooke! It reminds me of when we were walking into the entrance of MK and my brother had to stop and tie his shoe, and he landed on one of those engraved pavement squares with out last name on it!! We hadn't done it, it was someone different...and we dont exactly have a common last name, so it was odd lol

Yay for keepin' your cool with the meanie mom. As we have learned...rude people are everywhere!!!

And omgoodness! That little girl looks so much like Brooke. I mean...even your boys thought it was her!!! Freakalicious!

Whew! I'm caught up! Ive missed the last few days on this.
:cheer2: for handling the rude mom. We had an instance when my DS5(he has cerebral Palsy) was walking in a CiCi's Pizza and fell into a lady I immediatly was apologizing and he was trying to say excuse me and she was lambasting him on how he should look where he was going and she was right beside him and blah..blah...blah. Then the manager who knows us (just from visiting so often:laughing: )came to check on Braeton and when the lady saw his braces then she was being overly sweet. I mean even if he didn't have CP He immediatly apologized and was saying excuse me. He barely weighs 30lbs. Trust me he wasn't hurting this individual! Of course I was so mad I just had to oopen my BIG mouth and say in an apologetic but kinda mad  voice " Oh Ma'am I'm so sorry we didn't see you and he has no peripheal vision. Please excuse him!" And then she slithered off to her seat!!!!! end of soapbox!!!!
Thanks for the great Pics. I can't wait to go!!!

Wants:
I last left you at the end of our appetizers. Brookie was still fast asleep in
Here, have a glance at the dessert menu and try to guess what Rob & I each ordered. We
each ordered something different…

Next installment...June 23...Epcot...Le Cellier desserts

OMG - I can't decide which one I want!

What is the moose made of???

And I prefer more often updates...since you asked and all! ;)

You can't tell ANYONE to update more often! LY/MI :rotfl2:

I have no idea what a "box" is - seriously- not joking here.

My paci story - DD2 would never take a paci. Then she realized that the other toddlers at daycare had a paci and she decided she wanted one at almost 2 years old. She takes the medicine dropper from the infants tylenol and mothrin bottles and sucks on them, calling them her paci.:confused3
My MIL laughs and tells us we are white trash b/c we make our daughter use a medicine dropper for her paci.

OK you win it was better than my suitcase update :rotfl2:

Jo - you have a suitcase update. Must get to your thread! :rotfl2:

DM - thanks for all the great photos. Did you like the Ellen ride? We did it years ago and never go back.

We have something in common... I love to take pictures with no one in them too...the ones you took are great!

We didn't get our morphed picture emails either. I was disappointed.

That little girl does look like Brooke...I'm sure that was really weird to see someone that looks so much like your own child up on the wall.
