"If you go poopy on the potty Mommy will give you some M&Ms." She just shook her head no at me. I didn't even have M&Ms but, with the way she was acting I didn't think she would go. So then I see her straining a bit and Voila! She did it. I get her all cleaned up and praise her for going on the potty. She goes back into her room and I go back to watch BB8. She then came in and said, "Mommy, I want my M&Ms." Uh-oh! I told her tomorrow we would get her some M&Ms but she wanted them now. Quick. I had to think fast. I could send Rob down to the gas station to pick some up but I called my Mom (who lives next door) and asked her if she had any. YIPPPEE! She did. So I grabbed the bag from her and gave Brookie 10 M&Ms. So, I've learned that I better not offer something if I don't have it!![]()
I have the rest of the bag of M&Ms!You'd better get a supply of M&M's in![]()
for the poopy!!!!
What a spoiled kid you were! This is too funny!![]()
My parents used to bribe me to do things when I was little as well. On one of our moves across the country we were staying at a hotel with a really big water slide. I was too chicken to go down it though. I guess my dad really wanted me to go on the slide though b/c he bribed me with one of those in-room movies you can order on the hotel tv.
Another time we were visiting friends in Rhode Island for Easter and I got really sick and the only meds this family had were pills. Well I was deathly afraid of swallowing pills. I just couldn't do it. Well my parents couldn't get me any liquid medication b/c everything was closed due to the holiday. They were so desperate to get me to take the meds that they bribed me with $50.Well after an hour of crying and chocking on the pills I finally got them down and got my $50

What a spoiled kid you were!I can't believe you made out with $50. Way to go sista! My Mom used to put crushed up pills in juice for us to swallow. Now why didn't they think of that?

Do you miss the potty training days TE?![]()
Ok--I have found a Canadian and need to ask a question (since we have verified that DM is NOT half-Canadian!)...Your kids are so cute. That video of them waking up is so sweet! It makes me wish for kids of my own so that I could witness moments like that.
Oh, and Goofyluver, you may notice that we are sitting at the covered bus stop in nice
benches. Yup, were rich, arent we? Not like those poor folks over at the value resorts who
have to stand to wait for the busses. This is a joke and for anyone who does not get it, then
you are not reading the famous dual TR by Goofyluver and Meeskamouska.
And the last picture before the bus arrived. I had fun with this one on my Disney Pix program and
added my own Tinkerbell...

Why do Canadians have to answer a math question in order to win a YOMD prize???
Oh.....ok.....that makes sense.....I guess! There is some sort of law up here that makes it illegal to win something in a contest that is not merit based so to make sweepstakes/contest winnings legal you have to answer a simple math question unassisted and within a time limit. It is pretty silly as you have to do this no matter how small the prize. For instance when McDonalds does their Monopoly contest. If you win a free pop you have to answer a math question![]()
I won a YOAMD lanyard and pin set and did not have to answer a question but then again they were not stopping us to ask if we were Canadian. I assume you have to answer the question for bigger prizes like Cinderella castle because the law still applies to us when we are out of the country due to customs issues? That is the best I can come up with.
Oh.....ok.....that makes sense.....I guess!
That would never work in America--it would hold up the drive-thru line at McD too much as people were puzzling over the right answer!
(and I'll tell my daughter--she read the rule in City Hall at MK and thought that they were discriminating against Canadians)
