We were wondering around POR this day too but it must have been while you were at MK. I dont remember the rain and we left on the ME around noon. Isnt the place just loverly? I love your room. I wish we had first floor but our stay was nice too.

The thunderstorm didn't come around until dinner time. So, lucky you that you weren't held up at the airport with that storm. Or were you? You haven't given us your return trip yet....

My girls eat one good meal a day and its tough to get them to eat healthy stuff the rest of the day....they would love if I gave them junk food like at Disney!!!
Course now that I saw the yummy piece of cake, I have DD9 making a cake for dessert tonight....but only if we eat our veggys!!!!

My mom made brownies tonight and we all had brownies ala mode, plus I put on chocolate sauce and dulce de leche. YUMMO!

Gee, sorry about not getting to return to MK but you probably could have used the rest time and its so much fun to be at POR resort. Is that gift shop wonderful or what? I could have spent hundreds in there!

I did not mind at all not getting back to the MK. Well, maybe a tad but I knew I'd be there with Brooke on Tuesday and with the whole family again on Friday.

Ok time to get out of the "all the rest" club. Your pics of POR r beautiful. i never walked over to AB while I was there. Enjoying the report and I will try to come out more and speak up.

Thank you. The AB side was very lovely. We stayed in Parterre Place just Rob & I way back in 1997 and loved it there. I really like the AB side with the kids tho. Plus, I didn't have a choice because we needed the trundle bed.

It did not take you 5 hours. But here's the pic of the Mickey clip. You just have to imagine the plastic card holder that was attached to it. Plus, if you look at the part that clips to card holder, it actually pulls out like a wire out from the Mickey Head!

So sorry to be obtuse here, but what is the "CB" and how do I get there??? I thought for a couple of minutes (but then my head started to hurt ). I want to join! Also, I tried to do the "quote" thing, but can't figure that out either. Geeze. Can you tell I'm new here (I know it says I've been a member since 1994, but I've only lurked around occassionally til now)? Thanks!

The "CB" is the Community Board. It is where people post threads that have no real meaning. Oops! I mean you can pretty much post anything you want over there and it's a lot of fun.

To quote someone, all you have to do is look at their post and in the bottom right corner of their post is a box that says "Quote". If you click on that it will quote them in your reply.

It's a lot nicer here today - not so stinking hot as it was yesterday! Our kiddies (well, they're not so little anymore) are heading down the shore until Wednesday. Wish we were going with them . But, when they're all back into the swing of college and gradeschool for the DGS, we'll be heading to Orlando (no, I do NOT feel guilty, we took the whole clan last August!)

Rob & I are attending a clambake today for his fire department and that starts at 1 pm. So, I need to get myself ready and the kiddos packed up. I have some good news to share with any of you parents out there. Brookie, who just turned 3 on July 8, has been wearing big girl underwear for 4 days now and has had no accidents at all! Want to hear how it started? I'm going to get ready for the flames...

Four days ago when Brooke woke up I put on a new pullup on her. Not even ½ hour later she had completely wet it. I was ticked! She knew exactly what she was doing and was just lazy. So, when I took the pullup off her, I gave her a light spank on her fanny. Did it hurt her? Maybe a tad. But I believe it shocked her more because I am not a real spanker. I put on another pullup. She looked at me and then ran in the corner, threw herself down and cried. I let her cry it out. Five minutes later she gets up and looks at me and I said, "Are you going to tell Mommy when you need to go pee-pee on the potty next time?" She shook her head yes. And she did for the rest of the day. The next day she continued to do so and I decided to put a pair of underwear on her to test her. Sure enough, she continued to stay dry and told me each time. Even when she was in the pool she came out and said she needed to go pee-pee! Of course, I still put a pullup on at night but last night she stayed dry!

I'm so proud!

No flmaes here. We are doing that with Jimmy now. He gets 1 coin for peeing and 2 coins for pooping (no pun intended ) We have told him with all of the coins we are going to get Disney Dollars so he can get a surprise at Walt Disney World. He is pretty good at being dry. He will NOT poop on the potty so we will still be in pull-up in 8 days at WDW
