I have two trips set for May.

Race/F&GF Weekend: May 1st to 4th @ VGF
Star Wars Weekend: May 30th to June 1st @ BWV

Already have my dining reservations booked! Now just to register for the Everest Challenge and I'll be set!

They have not, but if they stick to the usual pattern, last two weekends in May and first two in June will probably be the dates OR last in May and first 3 in June. They seem to rotate that last combo in every 3 or 4 years.

We are banking on Memorial day weekend being a Star Wars weekend.

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping I could join you. Just had to postpone our trip for the second time this year (we were going to go in October but I got into an accident so rescheduled for this week but now my DH got hurt and we have to reschedule again). We are heartbroken especially since my DD6 wanted nothing more than to meet Anna and Elsa. Anyway, we are now going during the first week of May.

I am planning a trip for my sister and myself for May 26- June 2. I am graduating college and she is graduating high school. It's a surprise for her. We have only been once! What restaurants should I make a must go to! We love all types of food and if would like to have at last 3 reservations for nice fun places thanks

You could do a princess meal at CRT. Le Cellier is nice too (but pricey).
Any of them at Downtown Disney (well minus Rainforest there which I despise because of their reservation policy that they don't follow), maybe Bongos, or Raglan Road?

Congrats to you both on your graduations! Have a great trip!

Definitely make those reservations quick, we are getting there 2 days after you and reservation times are getting pretty full for a lot of things when I booked even at 180+10.

Me too! May 17-25th. I'm so excited! My husband and I have been years ago but there are so many new things and we're bringing our kids, 3 and 5, as well as my folks. We're staying at POFQ. We haven't been on property for 30 years. I already have my magic bands customized and my ADRs made. Now it's just waiting. And waiting...

My granddaughter and I will be at AoA in a Little Mermaid room May 3-9!!!! I booked us a breakfast in Cinderella's castle and she is really excited about that!

We just booked our May trip....we will be there from 5/23-6/1 doing a split stay. We will be at BC for 3 nights then moving over to VWL for the rest of our stay. We have gone in May once before and loved it, we can't wait to return.

We are going May 1-10 for a 3 generation girls trip. Me, my DD11 and Mom. Staying at POFQ.

We are celebrating our dd's high school graduation and our 21st anniversary! It's a surprise trip for our dd - May 20-27 at POFQ. (Not sure if my ticker below is right; I think I changed the dates since I made it.)

We are going May 13-19th. It will be me the hubby DS9 DS7 and DS5. it will be the boys first trip. We are staying at POR in a RR. I have spent hours, days, weeks, and months planning. We got all our ADR's and I am now working on my FP+ choices. Still have a way to go for FP+ but I like to know ahead of time. My biggest problem right now is making sure I have made the right choice with POR. We wanted to stay at the Poly really bad ( just love the hawaian theme and tropical landscaping) but I hear the pool may be closed. We were able to upgrade our DD to deluxe, stay in a RR garden view at POR ( the boys love the firework picture on the headboard), and still save money but my heart seems to still want to stay at the Poly. Holding out for the possibility for a discount for May and the possibility the Poly will hold off closing the pool. If that is the case I will have a huge decision. Any one have any advice?????

We'll be there May 22-31 staying for the 1st time at French Quarter. This will also be the 1st time without either of our two boys. They will be 24 and 21 by the time we go so they've kind of outgrown it. We knew this day was coming.
It makes me very sad but we've been every year since they were born so I guess I'm lucky they didn't "jump ship" sooner.
DH and I probably won't know what to with ourselves!!

Horse11, we did a split stay in 2007 between Poly and POR and while the Poly is beautiful and my all time favorite, my kids aged 11, 9 and 6 at the time preferred the pool at POR. That must be hard. But just think may be some time in future you may be taking grand kids to WDW. Enjoy the time together and rekindle your relationship with each other. May be hard at first but you may find yourselves like to school kids again. LOL!!!!

Oh thank you! That is good to hear! I am probally worried for nothing. The hubby says as long as there is a pool the kids will have fun. We are very greatful to just have the chance to go to WDW so I need to start remembering just how lucky we are and not sweat the small stuff. Thanks again!
