Hello my lovely chicas....

Interesting day today.....

Me and the family spent most all day today with my youngest brother. I haven't seen him in at least 3 years.

He is a horse trainer and has spent the past 3 years in Texas. Before that, he was in New Jersey.

It is a longer story, but I'm short on time.

Well, it's Saturday night and since I had a non-productive day I decided to do a little cleaning this evening. I turned some lively jazz on and went to town (sort of). Got some stuff done, though. I swear, if I subscribe to one more magazine I'm gonna...............????

I am thinking tomorrow I am going to see the movie "Little Miss Sunshine". Has anyone seen it or heard anything about it?? A client of mine said it was really good. It is an independent film so I need to see where it is playing.



Amber--no--you are not being a bad person. You and Mike need time to yourselves and no need stressing yourself out if you had a rotten time last year. Plus, smoke makes me a bit ill too so I know how you feel. Don't worry, we won't tell.

I had a pair of crocs at WDW but to be honest, I didn't wear them a whole lot. I'm not sure why. I mostly wore my Nike barefoot tennies. I wore my crocs around the hotel pretty much, though. Mine are dark brown, so they go with just about anything.


Mel--okay, you wore me out!!! 16 miles??? I wish I had your stamina!! Keep it up--it's good to have such an active outlook. Do you ride every day?? or just the long trips on the weekends??


Oh Miss Donna----CA is close to AZ, isn't it?? Sounds like a plan to me. Why not??

Hey girlfriend----------we've missed you!!! Congrats on your weight loss. I'm so jealous---I need you here to be my coach. Way to go!!!!!!! Are you finding it easy, or a struggle??? I seem to do really well for a few days, then I blow it then I can't seem to get back into it. Frustrating to say the least. I have these darling little dresses hanging on my closet door that I was going to bring to WDW in October, but I think they probably will be staying on the closet door, because I am only 2 months out and unless I go on a eating strike, it ain't gonna happen.
Sounds like the house is coming along swimmingly. All your hard work is paying off, I'm sure.



DznyFan--yum, a martini party?? What kind did they have?? I threw one a while back and I had dirty, blue, cosmo and chocolate--but we never made it to the chocolate ones because we were all kinda tipsy by the time it was dessert martini time. Needless to say, coffee was served soon thereafter.

Glad you got to visit with your out of town friends.

Yay for your free airfare!!!! Pays off to know what you are doing.

Hi, Ashley!!! Don't ya' just love to clothes shop!! I had a hard time trying to find shorts for our trip that were long enough.After seeing the pics I realized they weren't long enough!! But it was July/Aug and HOT!!! I bet you look cute in your bermuda shorts. Your DH is so sweet for getting you your special perfume!!

Hey Ash-----ouch for your head. No wonder you wake up in the middle of the night startled. Maybe you should try my trick and "flip" to the opposite end of the bed, then your foot would have gotten whacked instead of your head.

I hate when I go shopping and you have to go to several different locations of the same store. I guess there's nothing you can do about it though. I'm sorry you didn't find your capris but I'm sure the Bermudas look just as cute!!

Have you looked at Target?? They have some cute plain T-shirts in several different colors. If I recall, some were more like babydoll T's where the sleeves are just little caps instead of a full t-shirt sleeve. They have those, as well, I think. Just a thought.

I almost hate to mention that I have quite a few girly t-shirts in different colors from Old Navy. Been there lately?? I have gray, white, brown, navy, red, lilac, peach & green.

I know!! I was looking EVERYWHERE at Old Navy for them! I have seen them several times and have a few, but I wanted some fresh looking ones. Can't find any! I did see some long sleeve ones, but I need short sleeve.

Thanks for the suggestion 2xcited for Target! Everybody knows I go there enough as it is, but I think I'll make another special trip there tomorrow!

OMG----the castle print literally had me all choked up!!!! It is beautiful!! The only thing is that you can't really see your name.

The BTRR with Mickey in the truck looks like something Jeremiah may like since it is a bit more "rugged".

I love Peter Pan so the last one is cute as well.


ETA--I could not remember the fourth print---of course---ASHLEY---very cute too-----tough decision.
