P.S. DH is whistling "You've Got a Friend in Me" in that "not really thinking about what I'm whistling because this song is in my head slow whistle" because I was singing it when I posted it. Isn't that too cute? OK, maybe I'm just getting slap happy and finding humor in odd places. :rotfl:

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Y'know, this happens to me at work too. Ya make one eensy little mistake, and EVERYONE'S gotta chime in. Geez Louise! (wink wink! - my smilies are on strike at the moment.)

Too funny--I am literally up the street from our Ted's (Ted Drewes)--you wouldn't believe how packed this place gets. The other day I drove by and there was a huge group of people having their photo taken in front of the sign because it is on the historical Route 66. They were all posing goofy with their yellow Ted Drewes cups.

Anytime, sister, anytime.

I've had a few concretes (spelling) from there. My Aunt Uncle lived in St Louis for nearly 30 years...recently retired near San Antonio. My cuz still lives there. We actually took many summer vacations there...Grant's Farm and Six Flags. :woohoo:

Never heard of this Ted but his place sounds delicious! I had never heard of frozen custard until I came to the midwest and now... YUM! We have a Sheridan's right up the street from the new house - that's dangerous.

Hey, I've had a concrete from Ted Drewes.

One of my best friends from High School is an attorney in St. Louis. I went to a conference there and we went.
It was about 11 p.m. on a Wednesday night and there had to be 40 - 50 people there!!

Good stuff!! :thumbsup2

You almost got it... next year! We'll go to Paris together next year.

Ok I cheated. I had to look up how to say next. And go. I forgot a basic verb. But hey, it's been 12 years!!

Oh no, I just noticed the time! I must go nighty-night now, I have a LOT of packing to do tomorrow. I plan on packing up nearly everything and pretending I'm on vacation for the next month. Since we close on the house in 11 days, we will be slowly moving boxes & small things over so I don't have to pay the movers their stinkin' $2.00 a box. Hey, it can add up quick!

So, toodle-oo! See ya later alligator! After while crocodile! Not too soon you big baboon!

I am so glad Ted Drewes doesn't have a drive-through. If it did, WATCH OUT.

When you think about it, really, it is sad--I cannot even walk up to the window to get a treat. God forbid I walk off any of the calories. :sad2:

My parents have a brand new Sheridan's by them. It is pretty yummy. To be honest with you, I am not even really a Ted Drewes fan. I think Sheridan's has better custard. Ted Drewes is just a landmark. Believe me, though, I wouldn't pass it up if someone offered it to me. :dance3:

Hi Pozey, bye Pozey---have you been stalking us loudly (edit-out loud, pardon moi) this whole time?? You bad boy, you. beautiful house, btw.

Night YM--enjoy #9--I'm waay far behind you #2--long story getting it--I went to one Target--didn't have it. You should have seen the look on my face. I wasn't going to stop at another but I HAD to!!!!!

Night Lyzziesmom-- don't work too hard tomorrow. Remember to label your boxes appropriately.

and you know what comes next----let's all say it together now...........

WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE--I WAS WRONG--YES, I ADMIT-------

THIS WOULD ACTUALLY MEAN THAT ONE IS STALKING "OUT LOUD".

Okay, I take over the ninny position again.

Oh, where's my eighth grade grammar teacher when I need her??

I am now the ninny again because:

1) I was absolutely, positively wrong............. I think.

2) I quoted my own self.--Is this allowed??----------->look, got it correct this time. :smokin:

The sun
Has gone
To bed
