Gooood morning everyone! I thought I'd share an assortment of Pooh waffles from the Crystal Palace. Maddie was so excited to see they had one for each character, but she was disappointed that they left Eeyore out.
Hi 2x...Sorry about the Internet speed! I know it can be a pain in the rear!!! Even with DSL it can be slow at times. If you remember what you wanted to ask, I'll be here!
I bet you remembered as soon as you shut down you computer, didn't you!
I don't remember what Divine looked like back in feb. other than she was a little, well.....Green!
I bet she has a huge background in ballet. I can't even imagine walking on stilts, in a crowd, and up into the trees all without falling flat on my face. Also, did you notice how she really never looks down? I would definitely be on my butt, I think I might do better as a bush!
MK VIEW AT THE POLY!!!!
Sorry, I know I'm shouting, but how awesome is that!!!!!
I don't remember there being a problem with crowds there during Halloween. I always loved going when we worked there to see the parks and parade, it was always a lot of fun, and it only happens 1 day a year.
I don't know that you want to be in the MK during Trick or Treat time, that may be a little hectic, but on the other hand, the rides may be less crowded at that time.
Oh and by unpacking before I started painting, do you mean emptying the suitcases or emptying them and putting the stuff away?
And by putting stuff away, do you mean away away, or just in laundry baskets in my room?
Sorry, this made me laugh. Of course it is owned by a power company!
I bet they were the only ones in the area without power.
I'm glad you had a good time and eventually got to see the concert, I think I would have given up and gone home by 9. You know I don't have patients for that kind of thing.
Yesterday I had to take Maddie back to the dr for her asthma. She was wheezing so loud that it hurt my ear to listen. Poor thing!!!
Well I'd better get going, my extra child should be arriving any time now. I so hope there isn't any fighting today.

There is so much I want to say, but this dial-up is driving me crazy. It just took me over and hour and a half to read two days worth of posts.
This is FOR THE BIRDS!!!
Michele----I read your DeVine post and literally said----out loud-----"NO WAY!!!"![]()
I'm not sure who I thought was listening, but, oh well. That is soooo cool!!!! I would have squealed too. She is beautiful. I would love to do the make-up for DeVine!!!!
I wonder how many DeVines they have. The one we saw in Feb. was of African-American decent (??sp), wasn't she?? She was so graceful, too!!! I wonder what kind of background/training they have.
Lesa----I know there was something I was going to ask you, but my memory is failing me. I'll think about it and get back to you.![]()
It doesn't surprise me one bit that you started painting as soon as you returned. Did you even have a chance to unpack??
Well, I caved and changed our dates to Oct. 31 thru Nov. 5. I'm a bit concerned about the crowds on Halloween. Anyone been on the actual day?? We will fly in that day, so no parks, most likely DTD or resort hopping. I'm afraid DTD will be packed.
Thank goodness I was able to get our ADR's switched around and the Keys tour. For some reason, I feel like we will have a bit more time since we will arrive earlier in the day instead of later that evening. We reserved MK view at Poly.I keep bugging my mom to tell my dad, but she's afraid he will want to go along, then we would have to get two rooms instead of just one------which then, will NOT be MK view at Poly
since we would definitely have to break the bank.
I feel bad that she hasn't even told him yet, though.

We were there on Halloween a few years ago and I don't recall the crowds being bad at all. We took the kids to the MNSSHP that night and had a great time. You will have a great time, it's a lovely time of year to go!
The funniest part of the night was the irony. The theater is owned by DTE Energy...the local power company!! And they had NO Power and no generator on site!!
